To get our names in the Guinness Book of Records as being the only squad that could fill an A380 with just our midfield?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

We can't afford his wages. We'd have to send Juke back and play a 4-6-0 with our main goal hope being a marauding Darren Pratley.jonnycooper wrote:I,d gladly see K.Andrews recalled right now

I think "marauding" would be pushing it with our lot. Perhaps gentle lolloping would do?

And still manage to let a slow moving HGV through, in the inside lane.Lord Kangana wrote:To get our names in the Guinness Book of Records as being the only squad that could fill an A380 with just our midfield?
Edit: Oh, an A380 as opposed to the A380...

I'm sure we're more than capable of that too.

I'm lost, confussed, confused, and bewildered.

I see that Feeney was an unused substitute .... against US ... today. He's far from God's gift, but he made our form turn around.
Meanwhile, McNaughton was nowhere to be seen.(injured/banned/rested or not wanted ??)
I'm beginning to think that Mr Freedman is, at heart, a mid-range players scout.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
He has said in the Bolton News that he would like to have signed McNaughton and Feeney in the window but that their managers were unwilling to let them come.
Here's our new CB on trial: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikael_Dyrestam" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

CB and not incorrectly stated as a LB by someone else on a different thread.TKIZ! wrote:He has said in the Bolton News that he would like to have signed McNaughton and Feeney in the window but that their managers were unwilling to let them come.

He's handy then.
Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
Aye, according to the Oracle it's two different players mentioned in The People tomorrow that we're interested in (LB/CF)
Pfffft.
Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
Oracle has confirmed that it's Mason who's coming in on Monday

Oh, bum.TKIZ! wrote:Oracle has confirmed that it's Mason who's coming in on Monday
So, if last time's anything to go by, that's more or less a promise of first team action. In itself not too bad if he links up with Lukas. But will DF play 442 ?
Or is that the drop for Lukas who, a bit like Cravies, seems effective enough without being God's gift.
... & what about Beckford then ?
OK, 3 forwards will then be better than our current 1, but it's more HOW (& if) we use each of them which will matter.

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
How about playing a three of Mason/Jukie/Beckford?

Aye, we could get rid of the midfield completely and have seven defenders and the goalie whacking it up to them all game.TKIZ! wrote:How about playing a three of Mason/Jukie/Beckford?
