Monkey corner. Where the kids go to vilify people with a full set of teeth
They actually stop doing the wanker sign at the oppo's fans to point at planes in the sky

There are a few nice people there but if it means I actually get to stand at home games rather than hobbling around at half time and full time with cramp because I have been sat down in a seat with not enough leg room then it is something I am willing to put up with.

I have no problem with legroom at the Reebok and I'm a bugger.danhorwich wrote:There are a few tw*ts there but if it means I actually get to stand at home games rather than hobbling around at half time and full time with cramp because I have been sat down in a seat with not enough leg room then it is something I am willing to put up with.

TBF I have only been to the Bok once in the last 2 seasons, I have been to loads of away games though. The lack of atmosphere is depressing so at least those knobheads under the stand actually bother to sing unlike the majority of Bolton fans at the Bok.

Don't know if anyone saw the bit about them offering an away season ticket for the first time. Maybe I am reading it wrong but it reads to me as if you buy a home season ticket then for the add on price of £20 you will get all of your away tickets and coach travel sent to you for free. Surely that is to good to be true?

To good to be true, I thought as much. So what exactly are you paying £20 extra for?

So you don't have the hassle of actually purchasing tickets/coach travel. You can also specify front, middle or back of our allocation.danhorwich wrote:To go to be true, I thought as much. So what exactly are you paying £20 extra for?

I honestly cant understand why anybody would do that, although maybe it would end up cheaper giving the cost of using a phone.

I'll no doubt fall for it again and cough up for another exciting seasons football
. £410 less 5% for my Lifeline membership. Another four years to go before I get pensioners rates. That's something to look forwards to (I'd insert another eye roll but you get the drift.)

Dan - I'm a bit over 6'2" tall and have no problem with legroom whatsoever. Are you about 13' tall or something?danhorwich wrote:There are a few tw*ts there but if it means I actually get to stand at home games rather than hobbling around at half time and full time with cramp because I have been sat down in a seat with not enough leg room then it is something I am willing to put up with.

I believe he reaches somewhere between the 2 of us. Like you, I have no trouble with legroom. Now Wembley against Villa was a different matter. A dwarf would have struggled those seats!Bruce Rioja wrote:Dan - I'm a bit over 6'2" tall and have no problem with legroom whatsoever. If you want to go to the noisiest bit, then the majority if what little atmosphere there is gets generated in the north lowerdanhorwich wrote:TBF I have only been to the Bok once in the last 2 seasons, I have been to loads of away games though. Re: Season Tickets 2014/2015
I will take your advice Boris, I am 6ft 3 so I don't know where that is on the Bruce - AT heightometre. Another member of the forum pointed out to me that there is no atmosphere at the Reebok and that I would be better of going to away games as I have been the last 2 seasons. I have had problems with leg room at games where I have had to sit but thankfully now we no longer visit Stamford Bridge or the Lane we no longer get stewards asking us to sit down. Maybe it is just the way I sit but it just does not feel comfortable sitting at football, I feel like I cannot effectively get behind the team and to be totally honest leaves me asking the question of if all the Bolton games were on tele would I bother going at all if I had to sit down? No atmosphere kills the game in every sense of the word and means you are better of stood in a bar watching the game.

Re: Season Tickets 2014/2015
Well I haven't been asked to sit down once while we have been in the championship and I will have done every ground in the league by the end of the season assuming everything goes according to plan.

Re: Season Tickets 2014/2015
Depends where you go, a lot have given up the ghost with away fans. It's totally unfair, many want to stand but to do so is very unfair to those who struggle. Went to Wigan with my dad, who is pushing 70 and undergoing chemotherapy. He needs to sit and would love to see the return of standing areas for that reason. When politicians stop listening to emotional arguments based on past events and start listening to reason from a big majority of fans it will happen very soon I think. Clubs will also push for it because like Dan says a lack of atmosphere coupled with TV exposure is killing the game and this will help get it back.
