Oh good, my first time. :D Why?

I feckin hate Manchester...
The whole airport is the size of one of the Duty Free shops at Manchester. As someone who hates airports, I like Blackpool.

Blackpol is fantastic William. No long queues, great cafe, free parking. The only downside is that you have to pay a tenner each as an 'Airport Development Fee'. Even better for me, I can get the tram to and from :-)

Blackpool airport used to be well handy for nipping to Dublin and back, but they don't seem to do it anymore. It was like catching a flight from someone's bungalow.

I went to Geneva from Southend on Thurs - back yesterday.

Great little airport - no fuss or waiting at all.

Ah, isn't this another one that they're absurdly classing as being a London airport?

Marginally better than Oxford airport being branded as London Oxford.

Ha - yes.

But having said that, the train through Essex from Liverpool St makes it as convenient a London airport as any of the others.

Now then, if I was going on Mastermind I reckon I could have UK airports down as being my specialised subject. However, I'd absolutely no idea that Oxford had one, called London or otherwise.

How long did it take to get there? We looked at Southend for going to Barcelona but we (or I -her geography is awful*) decided Stansted would be easier. Was 45 minutes from Liverpool St. I've never been to Heathrow, but have always found Gatwick and now Stansted to be fine to get to.

My flatmate is in Peru at the moment. She asks if flatmate with be visiting Everest?!

55 mins from Liverpool St.

Good on the way back for me too as I could get off at Straford and get Jubilee line there.

Fairy nuff. We got back to Liverpool St about 1 on a Friday night. 5 min walk to the bus. It's eerily quiet around there late at night.

No, but, it works on kids and animals so it can't be a placebo effect. Plus, I had a cold once and I took homeopathy tablets and a few days later it was gone! This is clearly a conspiracy by big pharmaceutical companies

Whilst I appreciate you're being glib, I think that's an interesting point because it's so often raised. I didn't realise until I read Bad Science how strong the links were between Big Pharma and the homeopathy lot :o!

I have little doubt that all the leading pharma co.s have an effective cure for the common cold, they just rake in gazillions from having us mugs treat the symptoms though. The nice people.

Perhaps, but just in case the sarcasm wasn't coming through, I would like to just make it clear that I think homeopathy is a crock of shit.
