Have to watch The Musketeers tonight as they take on....Vinnie Jones.
I've actually watched the whole series and it's been quite decent so far. Authentic locations and a realistic period feel to it.

Thought it was a bit obvious really. Vinnie Jones plays violent thug.

Musketeers is a decent romp but the veneers wearing a bit thin. I have determined, though, to take up the book to see how the story SHOULD be told.

You can read the whole book here: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/1257/1257-h/1257-h.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Gary the Enfield wrote: Musketeers is a decent romp but the veneers wearing a bit thin. Cheers TD
I shall most likely buy it though. I like the feel of a book and read mostly in bed before I go to sleep. Easier to let a book fall when I'm nodding than a laptop or tablet.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Indeed. I'm your booklover too, and have bought a few old classics over time. I have Treasure Island, Ivanhoe and Last of the Mohicans at home right now (and a couple of copies of Pride and Prejudice, of course).Gary the Enfield wrote:TANGODANCER wrote:You can read the whole book here: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/1257/1257-h/1257-h.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Gary the Enfield wrote: Musketeers is a decent romp but the veneers wearing a bit thin. Re: What are you watching tonight?
You're not kidding. As Tyreese said, 'The whole world is haunted now'. I certainly was when I went to bed afterwards. Jesus, was as shocking as THAT Game of Thrones episode.wigan white wrote:Holy Sh*t!!! Last nights episode of the Walking Dead. What a mindfeck

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Completely agree, the first one especially (without spoiling it for anyone) made me actually say out loud, "What the Feck"!!! Definite comparisons to the "THAT" episode in GOT as you say. One of the best episodes in Walking Dead in my opinion.LeverEnd wrote:You're not kidding. As Tyreese said, 'The whole world is haunted now'. I certainly was when I went to bed afterwards. Yep that was very weird and didn't see that coming. I quite like the more mindfecking episodes like the last two more suspense than running from and shooting zombies and Melissa McBride is gorgeous
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!

TBH, I thought the show had actually been lacking in Zombie confrontation and losing its actual premise as a "Zombie Horror".Raven wrote:Yep that was very weird and didn't see that coming. Nero fiddles while Gordon Burns.
Re: What are you watching tonight?
Walking dead, great episode.
They got to Judith just in time.
Both girls deserve an award for how well they acted.
Was that fire from the cabin that Daryl and Beth set on fire?

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I've thought that at times, but I thought the barbecued smoking zombies scene was well done. And feeding scene was fcuked up but compelling.wigan white wrote:TBH, I thought the show had actually been lacking in Zombie confrontation and losing its actual premise as a "Zombie Horror".Raven wrote:Yep that was very weird and didn't see that coming. Have you seen Darabont's The Mist? Very little monster action in it, mainly implied and the film is more a speculation on human behaviousr in certain scenarios, similarly to TWD.
