I think the answer is we don't have one. I think of a general as one who pulls the strings rather than doing the damage. Mavies can be prone to disappearing. Hope he can develop into that player.

I was thinking of a Paul Scholes in his prime. A big ask I know, but......

Think you're obsessed with this N/S divide, Dan!

Either way, you'll be stood in the rain for 90 mins.

A virus gripped Bolton's camp last weekend but it has since eased.

Midfielder Mark Davies, goalkeeper Andy Lonergan and striker Jermaine Beckford were among those struck down by illness, but the Trotters had a full group in training on Thursday.
So everyone's fit then. No excuses.

He's already used the "there are no easy games" line. He wasn't slow to say how well they played midweek v Wiggin.

I anticipate him taking their threat very seriously and setting his stall out to contain them.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Friend of mine on the coach tells me they've badly miscalculated and are there already. Apparently it was the journey from hell in a coach full of chavs. Let's hope the journey back is happier.

Will they be less chavvy after 4 hours or so ? Nice if it works that way.

The wind can play havoc at this ground.

Still, my prediction is, 4-2 to the super whites.

There's fit and there's fit-for-Freedman.
