I think that would be covered by my second option really.
I've just had a thought. Why don't we sell Freedman? If you can buy and sell players, why not managers, there might be some club out there for whom Freedman is just the ticket

He still has to go, though I'm sure this current good period will keep him in a job next year. If Freedman got us playing with urgency and encouraged the players to attack in every single game, we'd probably have a good season but he's far too negative for that.

There's a suggestion that some of DF's critics WANT a poor start next year just to be rid of the man. Well, "not here, Guv' ".

I want Bolton Wanderers to do well. I want them to win every match ... short of that to perform creditably at all times. That means I want any manager they have to succeed.

I most certainly don't want a poor start to next season just to get rid of a man I think is a chancer and is playing a real, live computer game at our expense. Someone who is fundamentally negative in his natural thinking about the game and confuses the hell out of me with his ever changing stances.

No, I don't. What I want is his to prove me wrong. I WILL eat my words if he proves himself to be right, to get results and, hopefully, with style. I'd be delighted to come on here & say "well, I got that badly wrong". I'd apologise to him, personally if I had the chance.

I truly doubt I'll need to. But next season will soon be upon us and we'll see.

Yeah, I've been waiting on that bit too. It's a proper cliffhanger.

I think it was going to be "I will give all posters on here £20, if we make the play-offs next season."

I'm going with: 'I won't be holding my breath.'

Edit: Though I'd happily go with the twenty quid idea!!

Norwich have sacked Chris Hughton. Another name to discuss if Dougie isn't here come the summer.

Bizarre from Norwich that. 5 games to go, just above the drop zone, and a tough run in. Is that really the time to be sacking your manager?

Quite like Hughton by the way seems a bit unlucky at Newcastle and Norwich.

Mind the fans there didn't much like him, said he was very negative and defensive in approach.

Ollie Holts already on it.... Claims there's a 'problem' where personally, I think it's a generational thing.

How do you mean? Like a lag effect of people who have done courses coming through in a few years?
There's also the issue that for some racism is an easy excuse, being such a sensitive issue. I bet Sol Campbell for example has already got his excuses lined up for not being England manager in a few years.
