Give 'em Trotter and Cravies legs, then chuck in Sordell, legs, arms, torso and all. Job donethebish wrote:i think we've already been told we can't have Mason - or that if we want him - he'll cost us an arm and four legs... or summat...

Re: Freedman out!
I'm not generally one for conspiracy theories, but I'm thinking someone must have the inside track on Freedman's impending departure. Since there was a prize offered for guessing the correct page we've grafted the transfer thread onto here, clearly some skullduggery going on.
If I were Abdoulaye's Twin I'd be launching some kind of appeal, not joining in.
Unless it's him behind it!
Maybe the other thread has become an embarrassment!!
Prufrock! What's your take on this, from a legal perspective?

Re: Freedman out!
I heard that Mason's loan expires next week, so we're not going to have him for the play offs.

Looks all above board to me.

Any disagreements?

Danns

Mason
Hutton
Though I don't think either of the last two are very likely at all.

Solksjaer seems to have signed about a million players in every position. Spose will depend who they get rid of when they come down but whilst I wouldn't be holding my breath, I wouldn't think getting him back even if only on loan for a year would be completely out of the question.
Don't think we've a hope in hell of meeting Hutton's wages though.

To be honest, I'm all for the liberalisation of all threads. The debate should go where it goes and not be constrained by arbitary thread titles. Especially if Dan is in charge of the thread title

I'm prepared to discuss an out of court settlement involving a shit load of beer though.

Doesn't sound unlikely. I know that's what was reported the first time round but no reason Solskjaer shouldn't have said the samethebish wrote:I think I've read that somewhere in the last month or so... might have been rehashed old news, though...Prufrock wrote:Was that since Solskjaer took over? Re: Freedman out!
I'm not sure! If he wasn't sacked after the atrocious start this year, what will have to happen before he is replaced? Frustrating. I can only assume Freedman has pictures of Gartside cross dressing or something.LeverEnd wrote:You could have summed all that up by just posting minutes Trotter has played in the last 5 games and minutes Moritz has played. To be fair to Dougie we have done pretty well in those games, but if I were Moritz this one stat would be enough to see me on my way.
And where's your Dougie departure thread page predictor, party pooper?
I'm not sure that's true. When Moritz started against the best team in the league, he scored two and was the most effective player on the pitch until being substituted. He has his shortcomings, and does do well as a sub, but I'd like to see him played more often from the start. If it doesn't work, that's fine, but he's scored 4 in 6 when starting this season so surely he's worth the gamble?boltonboris wrote:I don't think Moritz has it in him to regularly play 70+ minutes at a decent level.
I won't knock Dougie for getting good performances from him as a bit of a 'supersub'
You asked me where I'd play him and probably either alongside a striker but dropping a bit deeper on occasion, or in front of three central midfielders. I'm not sure he could play as an out and out central midfielder but just behind one or two strikers would be fine, I think.
Re: Freedman out!
if he played just behind a striker - as you suggest - then you are suggesting NOT playing 4-4-2?? surely not!
which striker would you have dropped over the last few weeks to accommodate him?

What score was the game when he scored two? Wave after wave of attack, I seem to remember you saying.SmokinFrazier wrote:I'm not sure! Probably due to us having nothing up top to stick to

I'm going tomorrow - I've missed the ones that we've won. So we'll lose.

Exactly. It was the same late last season ... except our league position made it more interesting.TANGODANCER wrote:How can "Lost one in twelve" seem so drear?
