A win can't change anything position-wise today, but it would be nice to just climb steadily as high as we can by getting the points and not falling behind.

Momentum, too. If we finish with just the one loss in the last 16 games, that'll get a few tails up.TANGODANCER wrote:A win can't change anything position-wise today, but it would be nice to just climb steadily as high as we can by getting the points and not falling behind.

"Trotter .... bomb forward".Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:[As an aside, it looks like Trotter isn't in that more advanced role, so I hope it helps him start to find his feet... but might he also have licence to bomb forward in a side with only one "defensive" midfielder? Is this an attacking (from midfield) team designed to please the home punters? I suppose we'll see...

You've not actually seen him have you DSB ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He's scored 30 goals, presumably not all from the centre circle.bobo the clown wrote:"Trotter .... bomb forward".Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:[As an aside, it looks like Trotter isn't in that more advanced role, so I hope it helps him start to find his feet... but might he also have licence to bomb forward in a side with only one "defensive" midfielder? Only thing of note in a poor half. Still, it's our thing of note. Get in....1-0..

Goal came via a long ball from Mills, so that's two of the "new" faces combining for the opener.

Stop looking for positives. You know that is not how it works.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Goal came via a long ball from Mills, so that's two of the "new" faces combining for the opener.
