Exactly the same here.

I hope it's untrue, but there were stories coming out of Euxton 2 or 3 weeks ago that they had an almighty row.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Who else has been rumoured to have fallen out with Freedman? Mears and Craig Davies were another two and their treatment supports that theory. Any others?

The most obvious candidate, yes.

Kevin Davies, Petrov last season
Sordell, Andrews

No issue with those for me apart from maybe Andrews given he's done alright for Brighton and we've signed umpteen other bog standard centre mids instead.

Get rid. Match winner on his day but spends too long on the injury table. Never really fitted in as the club were seemingly struggling to fit him into a system that would work for him. He was the opposite of versatility really. We've got no-one better at running past people at the club and the second best in the dribbling stakes (Eagles) if off aswell so we're going to have to fill the gap regardless.

A nice mixture of talent and graft would suit us nicely.

I think as far as Mark Davies goes he's given a good account of himself while he's been at the club but how long are we going to persist with the same scenario of get him fit then he's injured. Surely the constant change of him being in and out of the side isn't doing us any favours.

I agree. He's very talented and a joy to watch at his best, but the consistency is missing, and not just because of injuries. Hard to say why, I don't think he's soft or lazy.

Disagree with getting rid of him - he might be the only guy in the squad I actually look forward to watching.

He might be a liability in the premier league, but in the Championship we have always played very well when he's been in the team.

Would love to keep him if we can, but I suspect he is still on Premier league wages, so the powers-that-be may have already decided we simply can't afford him.

Leicester showed us the other night what a great team they are without any expensive individuals. It was all one touch ping-pong passing that enabled them to get behind our defence at will, like a knife through butter. Similar style to Utd a few years ago, and under Todd in the 90s.

So we know we could improve without Davies, but then again, the current manager doesn't share the cavalier philosophy of Nigel Pearson, or Toddy. We're so scared of the opposition we just want to sit behind the ball for the majority of the match.
... of course I may just be talking bo11ocks
