now - thanks to 3/4 hr with karcher power washer with floor-scrub attachment - as clean and fresh as the day it was laid! just off to get some Jeyes fluid to give it that proper side-path smell!! that's what spring is about! 8)
You should have used this stuff: http://www.algon.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's absolutely amazing. No effort required other than diluting it in a bucket, than brushing on a small quantity across the path. No scrubbing, jet washing or anything. The algae just disappears!

Not sure it'd get rid of the moss though.
Generally available ?
Yep. What's more, they're based in Lancashire. Not surprising that someone in Lancashire developed something to get rid of green algae.

Chuckled when I read that one of the actors used for UKIP's latest round of posters was an Irish foreign worker.

Apparently the Cons have a story lined up for every day between now and the elections. Not difficult when ukip continually shoot themselves in the same foot. Entertaining though!

Chorley piped F.C United of Manchester to the Evo Stick north title, leaving the other United's rejects to fight it out in the play offs :pissed: .

Well in Chorley!

Also, that means they're on Football Manager next season right? Champions League to Victory Park would be some achievement!

Try not to damage the bagpipes. I'm quite partial to a bit of pipes and drums. :D

Brilliant. :oyea:

I got into the jolly decent habit of going watching Chorley some years ago, which I've somehow allowed to lapse.

Don't think you were around at the time, Dan, so here's a link to the piece I wrote about my first visit.

Note to self - go watching Chorley more often next season.

Superb article Bruce, If I do manage to get a job up there I will certainly go to some games as Victory Park next season as I love non league football. It might be hoof ball but you get the sense that non league players really care for their clubs and the communities that they are a part of. Well done Chorley.

Big couple of days for myself, ethics exam on Friday - it didn't exist on accountancy courses until Enron and Arn Anderson decided to leave some things off of their balance sheet. Even bigger day is Friday when I have an interview for a Junior accounts role down here (in fact the next stop on the train from me) which (If I a manage to get it) will allow me to continue studying my the AAT while earning. I am delighted as they actually came to me rather through a jobsite I am on rather than myself applying for a job. After applying for 250 roles in the north west it is odd that a business down here would end up seeking me out, none the less I am absolutely delighted and intend to make as good an impression as possible in the interview. Wish me luck!

Well done Dan. Make sure you do some homework on the company and be positive in the interview. Best of... :)

Thank you I have put several hours aside tomorrow to research the company and to compile a list of questions they are likely to ask me and think of suitable answers. I will obviously turn up nice and smart and try to sell myself as exactly what I am hard working and conscientious.

Don't forget questions you might like to ask them - you are also interviewing them after all.

Yeah I have got a couple jotted down. Do you think I should take my various exam certificates or not. I mean they didn't ask for them but...
