Zulu Down - Brum match thread

Post by Harry Genshaw » Thu May 01, 2014 8:20 pm

Since the other one is about booze and has started to slide into another Dougie in/out thread.

What's everyone's predictions for Saturday? Will DF throw in a few kids or play his strongest side to be fair to Donny. Does he know what his strongest side is?

2-1 win for us. The Duke with a farewell brace

I may start talking about beer. Meanwhile, we'll cruise it ... 3-0 or 3-1.

What will put the tin hat on a dull uninspiring season would be a gutless performance against Birmingham tomorrow.

Team must be sent out with the message ringing in their ears that they have the opportunity to actually have a real affect on next season by sending Birmingham down.
Birmingham may currently look to be in an even worse state than we are off the pitch, but a takeover in the Summer with a fresh influx of funds, and they could start next season like a train.

I think it will be a tight game they maybe nervous in the fist 20 minutes, if we score in that time we could thrash them otherwise it may fizzle out into a 0-0 draw.

Really hope to be wrong as I'd love us to go out on a high, but this has draw stamped all over it.

They're a mess, on the slide. It'll be like Wolves last season, a couple of early goals followed by foot off the gas and an easy win.

Aye, they're in navel-gazing mode. Although now I've said that they'll come out all concentrated and full of vim, the beggars.

A solitary goal for us late in the first half, followed by a shed load on the counter attack as they pile forward looking for something. 4-0 and lots of waving bye bye to their travelling army.

We won't win.. Feel it in my bones.

We'll set up to 'stifle them' and 'quieten the fans' (especially our own)

Which means we'll play shite and they'll stick one past us after sustained pressure
