Maths was never my strong point

I was trying to point out that he clearly likes it here and buys into whatever DF has planned. 44 games for Boro and 11 goals as opposed to less than half that games wise for us and 7 goals. Shows that we created the chances for him

I wouldn't expect him to continue at the rate he was for us, but he's good for 10-15 goals a season. And he offers a lot outside of that.

Hopefully we'll get a deal done, but I'd be surprised. I would've thought Karanka would take a look at him over pre-season.

In Beckford's defence, he was not given much support at all yesterday. Maybe he was capable of being a line striker once but not anymore. He shouldn't be played on his own up front. He could still do a job if he's got someone alongside him, but Juke should be starting in formations like that.

Nothing can defend Beckford yesterday. It might not suit him in that system but he can still put the requisite effort in. He was an embarrassment and there isn't an excuse for that in my book.

I'm absolutely with you on this. He was shocking yesterday. Every single ball to him (notwithstanding that some of them weren't great) met with him appealing to the ref rather than him at least attempting to chase it down. Yesterday he came across as being lightweight, lazy and soft.

Which leaves the question of who's going to be captain next season, I would have thought Spearing.

I presumed Moritz had gone over to be a boy from Brazil already. Though I guess none of us can imagine what having an agent means in practice.

I would love Mears or Eagles to do a "tell all" interview. I don't care how much of a "not my idea of a full back" he is there has to be more to it.

Is that the lot ? I did expect more.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Question is, what now happens with the players that we've loaned out?
