However, as right as you are about the likes of Hodge, Mann etc., and unedifying as the ignorant grandstanding is, part of me does think that it is important we know what a poor grasp of the substance of the issues some of these people have.

Don't disagree, but there are ways and means. Hodge's behaviour is appalling and it's more about her than the activities she's challenging.

Sort of the Mark Clattenburg of the HoC.

I loved it recently when some business head told her, effectively, to do one.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

She's not the most popular figure with the tax guys around the corner in the office!

Yes... not exactly an expert on transfer pricing is she?

Tonight Howard Webb presented my lad with the Manchester FA 'Young Referee of the Year 2014' award. I'm officially the proudest dad in the world...well done son!

Onya, Salford! Congratulations to the young man from me here down-under. It sounds like the two of you should be in line for a very pleasant week's end. :oyea:

Did he have to wear a Utd shirt all season to catch Howard's eye?

The lengths some dads go to....

Well done young ST.

Well done.

Is Phil Morris still the referees secretary?

I have today taken possession of a second 'green bin' for garden waste. I didn't know you could have two round here .... cost me a short call, a forced listen to a pile of garbled Welsh as the receptionist is required to read "hello, this is ...." in Cymraeg first as otherwise people would just start talking before she had spat phlegm down the phone ... and £14.50. It arrived today, will get emptied next Wednesday along with its brother.

They're both already full !
