Liverpool laughing stocks?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I'm imagining Gerrard being forced to watch that on an endless loop, Clockwork Orange style.

Sam Allardyce wants Steven Gerrard and Liverpool to win the title.

West Ham can deny Manchester City on Sunday with a shock victory at the Etihad Stadium. And the Irons boss admitted: "From a neutral's point of view, I think everybody would like to see Liverpool win it.

"From a personal point of view, I'd like to see Steven Gerrard win it.

"It's the last thing he hasn't quite achieved for Liverpool, but obviously they've let it slip out of their hands.

"On form and where they are, Manchester City are the favourites."

Former Liverpool stars Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing will also be keen to help the Kop title challenge.

"I think Andy Carroll would like to score the goals for West Ham!" said the Hammers boss.

You know, it is a ridiculous thing for him to say too. Unprofessional. Give it the whole "we want to go and win at City" speech.

But to come out and say "I want Liverpool to win it" as a manager of a rival club, just uhhhh....

↑↑↑ By all accounts an hour or so after final whistle he won't be manager of a rival club.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Well now we know where all those awfully-photoshopped mock-ups of our new kit are coming from!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Dan, Liverpool: If the Liverpool players stopped sulking round the pitch like moody teenagers then maybe a football match would break out. Embarrassing as it stands.
