What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Tinned toms, or fresh uns cooked down. Basil, onion and a bit of seasoning. Lob in an unhealthy amount of butter and simmer for a bit.

Edit: and garlic.

BWFC-I once told me to put finely chopped celery and carrots into a bol sauce. A tip for which I don't think I've ever actually thanked him quite enough, despite my initial reservations.

Not into that myself. My nan's recipe is the best, feck knows what it actually is. I just used to take several tupperware boxes of it to uni and stick in the freezer so I've never needed to know. They do use pork mince though, I know that much.

Brother's F-i-L's Italian and he uses pork mince to make the most fantastic meatballs and salsa.

Can't take credit for it. Tis what the Italians do themselves. Carrots onion and celery is their base for just about any tomato pasta sauce....

Tyrells Sweet & Salty Popcorn. So wrong, and so right.

A couple of years for me too, I think. Obviously I'm hoping that they haven't done a damn thing to the place.

Absolutely superb, as ever (and spotless bogs too, Jaffka ;) ) Eight of us had the set menu. Just when you think you're about to burst, out they come with a seafood paella. £30 a head with a decent glug of wine apiece.

Hor Mok Talay with side dishes of Pad Ma-Kham and Poh Tak Talay and an elegant Khaow Pad Pi-Sed washed down with authentic non-export Elephant beer.
My Thai friends are having a party, something to do with celebrating democracy being overthrown. I'll certainly feel at home., coz I will be: they've commandeered my 'balcon du sud'.

Boiled eggs curried Thai style. It could be like a scene from Armageddon in the works lift tomorrow morning.

A walk around Entwistle Reservoir followed by lunch at the Strawbury Duck.

I can confirm that the Strawbury Duck burger is immense. Angus beef burger with shredded duck and barbecue sauce, plus 3 of the biggest onion rings that I have ever laid eyes on, with Cajun fries and salad. Washed down with a pint of Unicorn. First ever visit, but certainly not the last! I'm a bit stuffed now.

Not a bad way to spend your 20th wedding anniversary! 8)

Did you take her with you ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
