from t'Lancashire t'elegraph..
Feeney was restricted to just one start – the 1-1 home draw with champions Leicester – and five substitute appearances.
But Bowyer was impressed by Feeney’s application and performances in training.
And the Ewood boss admits he would have given the former Bournemouth winger more of a run had it not been for Craig Conway’s continued outstanding form and Josh King’s end-of-season resurgence.
Feeney will be a free agent once his contract with Millwall expires next month and Bowyer could be interested in signing him on a free transfer.
“Liam came to us when we needed some pace and he’s made one or two telling contributions,” said Bowyer.

Lancashire Telegraph says ...

The 27-year-old struggled to make an impact after signing for Rovers on loan from Championship rivals Millwall in March. Feeney was restricted to just one start – the 1-1 home draw with champions Leicester – and five substitute appearances. But he could yet get the chance to make an impression with Rovers next season.

Bowyer was impressed by Feeney’s application and performances in training. The Ewood boss admits he would have given the former Bournemouth winger more of a run had it not been for Craig Conway’s continued outstanding form and Josh King’s end-of-season resurgence.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

It's a strong willed s-o-b, it says what it thinks.

So, it thinks "Bowyer was impressed by Feeney’s application and performances in training" and that he "struggled to make an impact" but "he could yet get the chance to make an impression with Rovers next season".

(I was referring to the fact that you - basically - entirely and shamelessly plagiarised my post above yours!)

I was more impressed with the second apostrophe in T'Lancashite t'elegraph. That was outstanding.

Not sure if its been mentioned earlier (can't be arsed looking) but according to the Transfermartket website, it says Mason is out of contract with Cardiff this summer???? if this is true, I wonder if he'll be next on Dougie's transfer express!!!

So what's going to happen with this little lot then?

LOANS RETURN: Keith Andrews, Marvin Sordell, Craig Davies, Tom Eaves and Josh Vela all to return to Bolton.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Vela .... fight for a place. Uphill battle with the Twins, Trotter  , and others but he's a confident littke sod and now he can run properly who knows.

Andrews & Sordell have burnt their bridges with Freedman I think. Eaves and Odelusi will be released if anyone will have them. Cravies .... not sure. There were stories that he wasn't Freedman's idea of a human being but we'll need to see if he returns to fight for a place. I suspect a move elsewhere is most likely though.

I think he'd like to get rid of all the forwards mentioned, but given we've only got Beckford we might have to keep one. Unless one or both of Clough and (who's the other kid forward, Youngs, Illiev?) are ready.
