Absolutely amateur management. A one year deal won't exactly motivate the player and is a dead-weight loss if he's shit, and if by some blithering miracle he turns out to be half decent, then a Prem club will turn up and poach him for pittance in January or bugger all in the summer. Lose-lose.
Copy and paste depending on your preference.
It's only a matter of time before someone comes along and says 'Why is he doing all his business now? Why not pick some cheap foreigners up after the World Cup. Short sighted if you ask me.'
Why is he waiting to do all his business after the world cup? If any of those foreigners are half good they'll go from cheap now to costing an arm and a leg after the world cup. Short sighted if you ask me.

Andy Robinson? I'd rather we signed Tom Robinson.
Etc, and so on.
Etc, and so on.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The loan was basically a trial. Obviously he passed, or was found guilty (C+P)

So he's advanced up the pecking order right there.

If he did sign Paul Robinson, he could double up as manager of the hotel.Lord Kangana wrote:I'd rather we didn't sign Paul Robinson.Puskas wrote:Andy Robinson? I'd rather we signed Tom Robinson.

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
Just needs us a striker and this is set to be the BESTEST transfer thread ever......EVER!
Pfffft.
Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
He's gonna be the b**locks this season imo.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

I don't want just any striker. We need a bit of foreign panache and guile, with it being world cup year. If they're called Smiff, it'll be disappointing.TKIZ! wrote:Just needs us a striker and this is set to be the BESTEST transfer thread ever......EVER!

That bloke born & bred in Southampton would be OK for a starter though ..... Lukas Jutkiewicz.Worthy4England wrote:I don't want just any striker. One more fast nippy striker and let's ensure the youngsters get time off the bench.
I'm guessing there's a few exits yet however.

If 'exits' mean we get The Juke and A N Other striker then I'd be happy with that

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
I still think there is a partnership with the Juke and Beckford. Maybe with one of the kids and/or a loanee inreserve.
Can tell I haven't watched the shower for a bit!
Good to see early business being done. A poor start next season will be unforgivable.

Think you may be right there, depends on Beckford not complaining and concentrating on playing footballofficer_dibble wrote:I still think there is a partnership with the Juke and Beckford. Maybe with one of the kids and/or a loanee inreserve.

Totally, might not be a two upfront. Could be a one up front with one of them in an interchangeable 3 behind.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
