Where do you see Bolton Wanderers in 5 years time?

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Personally I hope to see Bolton in all four divisions of the football league and possibly the conference and conference north and I don't intend to live a long time as I was discussing with Enoch the other day.

It's more in my family if you live really unhealthily by drinking to much, smoking to much, dabbling in other substances and eating unhealthily then you live for ages. If you are healthy like my mum was, don't take drugs, rarely drink and don't smoke you die before your 40. Given that I don't drink, take drugs or smoke (admittedly my diet could be better) I doubt I will live very long. My family history generally defies anything the medical profession comes out with.

You need help.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

In the championship.

The optimist in me says it will be after a season in the Premiership.
The pessimist in me says we may drop down a division but come back up.

In five years' time, I see us in 2019. Dougie might well have already selected his starting XI.

five years time, if Dougie stays beyond this November... League 2 or whatever it'll be called then (Emirates Division Premier Feeder Conference League)
That's not a leopard!

Football changes too frequently to predict what a club will be like in 5 years. Maybe Freedman will be sacked early next year and replaced with someone who knows what they're doing, so we end up getting promoted? Maybe Freedman stays, continues to take us backwards and we get relegated? Gartside could leave and be replaced with someone better and then Davies might sell up. There's no scenario I can't see happening but success depends on how well the players and club are managed; the two in charge of that are both failures, so things need to change.

You're being too credulous: unseeable scenarios are easy to imagine. Arthur Smith is installed as stadium announcer? Dougie announces that he is in fact Owen Coyle, that it's all been a dream and we've just come round in the shower? Colin Moynihan resigns as chairman of the BOA to become Lofthouse's replacement as Life President, immediately installing his wife as manager? Aliens land and force us to play a green-headed right-back? Time stops altogether? Turning up at the Reebok one morning, staff find the entire stadium has been removed and replaced upside-down, balanced precariously on the floodlights? Liam Trotter is widely acknowledged to have played well?

We'll be an established League one side, no chances of promotion or relegation.

I predict Sepp Blatter will be our PR Manager as we try to get rid of our dreary tag.
