Well I am highly qualified. I still often take the advice 'sleep when the babies sleep' and the babies are 3 and a half now.

Had a slog round Trent Park last night. 5.2 miles race in 24 degree heat wasn't funny. I'm sure I lost 4 or five pounds in weight.

Good warm weather training though.

And you can't read basic instructions. Sit ups / crunches means sit ups OR crunches. Sit ups & Crunches means Sit ups AND Crunches.

And you haven't been doing them ANYWAY.

Sounds wise LE, no point burning out.

I was going to go for a swim this evening but realised

1. I needed to go to the supermarket and
2. 'One born every minute' is back on 8)

so going to start the abs and squats challenge again I think to make myself feel less guilty about skiving. Not sure where to start it though, its a bit easy at the beginning, seems a bit pointless!

Not knowing what crunches were, but having been educated by GtE, having another butchers at that I'm confused. Surely any normally fit person, and I'm not talking elite athlete, can do that last set without even bothering with the build up. Surely?

The first half of the build up is pretty easy I will grant you - but then lots of people doing this won't be fit, that's the whole point of it. I have done it before and the end part I found hard going, maybe I'm super unfit but it was an effort for me so I will continue til it isn't.

Yer. What she said.

Anyway day 4 completed. I've also added a 1 minute plank into the mix. Also this morning I went for a 65 km bike ride in the pissing rain.

Tapering now for Rutland Water on Saturday.
