Unhappy when we don't sign players, unhappy when we do!! Who had heard of Bogdan or Jussi when we signed them they have turned out OK you just never know with young players! Give the lad a chance to prove himself!!

I would suggest, for a player in the last year of his contract, £6m seems unlikely. Half or a third is more probable, surely?

Anyway, I'd be slightly sad to see him go - he's one of the few decent players we have left, and showed some signs that he may be coming back to form towards the end of last season.

Although I'm aware that the modern, politically correct view is to dismiss any players with footballin ability as lazy fancy-dans and replace them with talentless cloggers, who we can admire for their work-rate (whether they work hard or not).

Oh well.
