Mixed set of results your parishioners selected for you, thebish.

The Bimingham game was 0-0, as was the Carlisle game. We did beat Everton 2-1 in 1959, but 1969 saw us lose to Blackpool 1-4.

Is this your previous church or your current one?

a small percentage of my time is sectioned off as a kind of troubleshooter/short-term ministry job. So this was the church in Dartmouth - which I have now fixed - and they have sent me off to do a similar short-term job in Sidmouth... (basically all the ugly, desolate, ugly hell-holes of South Devon! ;-) )

Aye, they don't come any tougher than south Devon. I've been to Sidmouth and still shudder at the memory. The ice cream was really cold and the beach had sand on it.

Struggling to find motivation to go and clean out the poultry. Little wotsits are not laying me many, if any eggs!

Alright, rub it in!

These are the doziest, most useless lot I have ever had. Spent a good 20 minutes chasing one round the trampoline the other day to the amusement of the kids and its only the last two nights they have realised they have a house they are supposed to roost in, not the apple tree.

Pah. Dear brother's struck a deal with his local restaurant who are now taking ALL of his eggs as fast as his chooks and duckies can lay them. Now I have to buy mine off of our MD at work.

Have you struck up a deal to take all the wine from his mini vineyard?

A bottle a week should make up for the eggs I'd say.

I don't know why but they look like cakes to me and extremely well decorated ones at that.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Sad to find one of my new chickens dead this evening. She only lasted a month out of the cage. No signs of illness but wish I could have done more for her. RIP little gunner. :(

Thanks LE. It just makes me angry and frustrated with a system that wears them out well before the end of what their natural life span should be.

One mate of mine thought it would be really funny, given my left of centre leanings, to buy me a "title" as a birthday present. So along with about 10,000 other people, I'm now Lord Worthington 4 England, of Wansley Manor.

Any one have directions to Billy Bragg's gaff, so I can go and shoot some peasants? :-)
