Cant we just sign freebies for strikers?
We're not overly thin on the ground. Can't imagine us getting promoted either way so lets give a young kid whose lost there way another chance. Delfouneso perhaps?

That's probably what will happen eventually. But sadly most of our fans won't accept your reasoning.Mar wrote:Cant we just sign freebies for strikers?

What about someone like Billy Sharp on loan from Southampton, a decent championship striker

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Freedman on reports he bid for that trialist.
But obviously they just make it up......
No money.

Funnily enough that was pretty much exactly what Nixon said in response to the reports. And Iles.“I think they must think I have found some money under my bed,” the manager said. “We haven’t made a bid and wouldn’t be doing so at that price.”

Pfffft.
Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
I don't. That Delfouneso is wank.
No-one remotely promising on that list. I accept I might have to lump it, but I don't have to like it!

Sounds like a great idea to me, Dougie will say he is to expensive.cmbfc_90 wrote:What about someone like Billy Sharp on loan from Southampton, a decent championship striker

Nixon does. Yes. Quite frequently. Anyone of us on here would probably be glad to get paid to peddle the shite he gets away with. And with sycophants like your goodself, he's got an easy earner for life. Its a bit like the man with two brains. Both are in jars. Neither between any ears.BWFC_Insane wrote:http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/11 ... d_reports/

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

I'm praying he can pull a rabbit out of an hat somehow with some Johnny Foreigner on a Bosman. Someone who's scored a few in a minor league and is worth a punt
"Get your feet off the furniture you Oxbridge tw*t. You're not on a feckin punt now you know"
Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
Fingers crossed, I'd go with this along with Mar's suggestion of a freebie alsoHarry Genshaw wrote:I'm praying he can pull a rabbit out of an hat somehow with some Johnny Foreigner on a Bosman. Someone who's scored a few in a minor league and is worth a punt

I hear big Emile Heskey is looking for a club, could do worse if he'll play for peanuts, which is unlikely. So are the chances of him getting a big fat prem contract though.

Not put out by the idea of Shola Ameobi tbh. A bit like when I suggested Peter Ramage a few years ago. On balance I was right. take the punt.

I'd not say I'd be delighted, but he definitely stood out as the least shit on that list.Lord Kangana wrote:Not put out by the idea of Shola Ameobi tbh. A bit like when I suggested Peter Ramage a few years ago. On balance I was right. take the punt.
And he's still pretty shit.
Ameobi and Mason on loan might work. Feck knows what kinda money the Nigerian wants though.

He doesn't get paid for twitter. And his accuracy is uncanny. Only idiots or people that haven't read what he tweets would suggest otherwise.Lord Kangana wrote:Nixon does. Yes. Quite frequently. Even our local journalist who probably resents the facts that all his stories are out out on Nixons twitter in advance of his paper has acknowledged that Nixon is a reliable source of info with close links to 'the club'.
I don't particularly care but he's got everything right again this summer as far as I can see.
