I haven't, no. What've they done at it? Looks a bit green on your pic there.

153 - 7 so whatever they've done appears to be working for now.
Good.

Boycott was laying into how England have bowled today on the radio earlier. Says it is India's day given the amount of grass on the pitch.

Except the 8th wicket getting 50+ sort of tells the lie to that.

Two things 1) that could be because England are bowling poorly and 2) the first session was when England should have inflicted most of the damage.

"Bowling poorly, should have inflicted most of the damage?" You know, I'm not really seeing 271-8 as some sort of cricketing disaster. Actually, it's a pretty good show.

Well Atherton and Bumble on sky both agree with Boycott. Very critical of England today. I haven't seen it, but both criticising the bowling and captaincy.

Saying on the pitch they should have had them out for less than 200 and that India will be happiest from the day.

Ah, I see. So when your 'disgusting track' is made a nonsense of you just change your argument. Great trick that, only, we can see you doing it. ;)

Nowt to do with me only what the pundits are saying.

And no pitch should have that much grass on it.

England now placing defensive fields against the Indian tail enders.

Leave the guy alone. It's not his fault that has to play on such a disgusting track. ;)

That was yesterday. There's a clue where he uses the word 'yesterday'. And we're back onto it being a disgusting track again are we? Only, you'd already ditched that one once and came up with something else, which, when that stood no scrutiny you blamed on pundits. :conf:

It was shocking for a test match pitch to have so much grass on it IMO.

I wasn't watching apart from the last half hour yesterday only going off what TMS were saying. Then later what Atherton, Bumble, Botham were saying.

Funnily enough they were all in agreement that the pitch was a bowlers dream yesterday and that England made a right meal of it.

This cricketing thing - I feel left out.
So a few questions:
153-7 is that good then?
Cook gone with ten on the board - ten what on which board?
Track! I thought it was a pitch or a wicket or a length or sommat? I've never heard it called a track before.
How can you have too much grass, what percentage grass is ideal, and what do you mix it with, camomile, sand, grasscrete?
That's not a leopard!

Aww, Spotty. We wouldn't want you to feel left out. Here's how it works. ;)

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game
