How do you know these two are on Premier League wages?Lord Kangana wrote:He's right. Players like Spearing, Baptiste, Beckford, Tierney all on Premier league wages. The resigning of Premier League failures like Ream and Wheater. Players like Bolger who were never even close to the first team. The list goes on. And no noticeable upturn in results.
Ream - most improved player we have and also on a hiding to nothing as the heir apparent to Cahill (who wasn't that amazing defensively)
Wheater - who until he got injured in the Prem add solidity to a leaky Coyle defence
Pfffft.

Why did you back a manager who demonstrably wasted more than ten times the amount the current one has? About time you actually explained that one.Lord Kangana wrote:He's right. I'm pondering leaving them to future threads, otherwise they stand to be the dullest threads in historywigan white wrote:Still no fecking strikers though AT, so BOO SIR, BOO!!!!!

Don't forget Dougies comments before the end of the season, that he's already done his summer scouting and that he was already looking at players for the Jan 2015 Windows, so is this now a historical transfer thread, mentioning transfers that have already been sorted by DF 4 years prior to this???Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:I'm pondering leaving them to future threads, otherwise they stand to be the dullest threads in historywigan white wrote:Still no fecking strikers though AT, so BOO SIR, BOO!!!!!

Was wondering myself, amidst the likes of such defensive talents as Knight and co, how that one didn't get Zico stoned to death?Prufrock wrote:Cahill wasn't that amazing defensively?! How the feck have you gotten away with that, Zico?!

He wasn't that amazing defensively(i.e. he was decent). He was way better going forward.TANGODANCER wrote:Was wondering myself, amidst the likes of such defensive talents as Knight and co, how that one didn't get Zico stoned to death?Prufrock wrote:Cahill wasn't that amazing defensively?! Got invited to the Bolton presser at Euxton yesterday and got some stuff from Dougie Freedman about transfers.

It's still takes a bit of swallowing mate? Chelsea rate him tops and he's England's central defender . He goes forward at set pieces for both but is mainly a sweeper?TKIZ! wrote:He wasn't that amazing defensively(i.e. he was decent).
