They definitely did them. Just not sure they had the Matchwinner logo.

I've got one with the Matchwinner logo and Normid sponsorship (bought at the time and now handed down to my daughter). But it may be that that first Matchwinner-made strip was the first in a while to be available publicly.

If anyone has a shirt with 'Knight Security'or 'BEN' on it, it could be worth quite a bit :)
Every kit we had in the 80's was available to buy from the club shop. Not sure whether they had the sponsors logo on them though.
Unless my memory is playing tricks on me I dont recall ever seeing anyone wearing Wanderers shirts from the era 1983 to 1987ish and certainly none with Knight Security, BEN, TSB.

I remember wearing some fake effort one of the local sports shops did in 1984 as a result of The Happy Shop (with the worst staff in the enitre feckin world) stocking nowt other than silk scarves and bob hats
I got the '85-'88 Umbro shirt from the club shop. It didn't have a sponsors logo on it but i can't remember whether they also had a version that did.

Incidentally, can you imagine the outcry today if the club released a 'new' home kit where the only real difference was the addition of a red rather than white trim to the collar, like they did in '85?

The ones sold in the shop are re-makes and don't have Matchwinner on them.

Interactive advertising??

Wow !!

They do have Normid one, but kind of defeats the object of trying to do a decent copy if it doesn't have the manufacturer on.

Comic Sans has its uses, as explained here: http://www.connare.com/whycomic.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Its uses are in comics.

Seeing as it was bumped anyway, anyone have a Stelios shirt they are willing to part with?

Knew this thread was around somewhere...

Does anybody have this shirt or the away version?

I'd like to "complete" my collection, if anyone was willing to sell it!

I had a brand spanking new unworn '58 replica top bought me for my birthday in the January. I was saving it for a special occasion, so wore it to Wembley on *that* day. Some cnut sat behind me opened a carton of feckin' Ribena and it splashed all over me. I've still got pink stripes all over the shirt. (Although following the result it was never to be worn again, and now is used for general cleaning) :oops:
