Post-match buses from Reebok to Bury Interchange

Post by scuzzmonster » Mon Aug 18, 2014 7:52 am

Boro fan in peace. I notice there's a bus replacement service in operation from Horwich Parkway to Bolton tomorrow night and seem to remember that you have buses running to various parts of Lancashire after the game. My queries are;

a. Is there one to Bury Interchange, Rochdale or Manchester?
b. How frequently do they run after a night game?
c. Which part of the ground do they run from?

Sorry if this has been asked before but haven't had change to read through forum in any great depth as yet. Ta in advance.

I take it you're looking to get the metrolink back to Manchester?

Off the top of my head, there's nowt to Rochdale, but I know one goes to Radcliffe.. Otherwise, you could get the 8 back to Walkden and jump on a 36/37/38 to MCR

I actually live in Ashton-under-Lyne which is why I said Rochdale as well as Manchester but anywhere on the Metrolink would be fine so guess Radcliffe will do nicely. Many thanks. Where do the buses leave from? The ground itself?

As you leave the ground, turn right and come back on yourself. Walk past the lofthouse statue and in the distance, you'll see them all parked up at the far end of the carpark.

Walk towards them, turn round and feck off somewhere else you smoggy bastard.

Alternatively, just get on the bus.. Whichever you prefer.

You want the number 3 for Radcliffe, or the number 2 for Bury interchange and it's the last stop on the route back for each
