Has anyone seen him play? And does anyone know why he spells his name Jordon?
Because he's (a) The son of Chavs, (b) A thick-as-shit footballer, (c) Both.
What happened to Peregrine Roquefort Smythe, or whatever he's called, that we were linked with earlier on?
May the bridges I burn light your way

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
Ibe is very good, and I'm shocked Liverpool are sending him out, but he lacks composure in front of goal. Maybe Rodgers is thinking that with a loan spell, he'll become more confident and if he does, I see no reason why he won't get plenty of games for Liverpool next year. It's a quality signing if he's used right.

At last - someone who's been to watch Ibe regularly and knows his game! shame he's already a write-off...

Isn't this just Dougies latest attempt at rearranging the chairs on the titanic?
5 internet pounds says he's another Jon Otsemebor. He'll be struggling to get a game at Chorley this time next year

To be fair to SF he could be. Just that once Dougie gets a grip of him, with his talent for developing youngsters that he keeps telling us about, Ibe could be the new Tom Eavesthebish wrote:no... If he wasn't at palace and Duggie hasn't worked with him before, he will be shit for us.
Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
Like Dawson and Juke.
If you were toting up Dougie's positives about the only significant ones at the moment are a) actually reduced the wage bill b) has an eye for a loanee.
Hurray.

So ... we sign Ibe. He may well be the next Ronaldo.
He plays on the wing, supplying balls for Wheater.
Who get's dropped ? Feeney, the winger we waited patiently for since last November ? CYL ... who's just bursting to be dropped for an 18yr old loanee ... so he leaves, which could be part of the plan of course. Or we may even drop our new winger Medo.
I get that the kid MAY be good, but it's not addressing our actual weakeness (Freedman apart).

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Stuey doesn't have a contract with us anymore........

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread
He came on last game of last season for Birmingham and turned our defense inside out.
We need Strikers though, otherwise this signing is pointless.

We have strikers.ChrisC wrote:He came on last game of last season for Birmingham and turned our defense inside out.

Craig David. Andy Mason. Darren Beckford. Tom Eaves.
Strikers coming out of our ears.
I want to see us sign more midfielders. Some good, solid holding midfielder types, who'll put a shift in.

See. There's six.
And then there's Iliev. And Clough.
So that's eight.
We need grafting midfielders. I hope Douglas stocks up on loads of them.

didn't realise it had passed without fanfare...Gary the Enfield wrote:thebish wrote:when does stuey come back and rescue us?

i guess we can offer him a new one whenever we like - if he's any good anymore...Despite being officially out of contract, the American will continue his rehabilitation at the club and he will be eligible for any friendly, under-21 or development squad games.

To be fair, the best either party could hope for. I still hope like he'll he can come back. I just truly doubt it.
