A run today will hopefully get me back on track, but the big danger is being away for almost a week. Running shoes will be packed!!Not a single one and that's the truth!
I did have 2 cakes, 2 biscuits and a coconut slice in the car though!

Hmm. Just done what I counted as being a 750 calorie burn-off session in the gym but myfitnesspal calculates it at 852. So, after a dinner of pasta, tomatoes, boiled mushrooms, kidney beans and a bit of Tabasco, I have 1163 calories to use up between now and midnight.

Yeah, I specifically targeted 750 tonight, measured on the gym equipment into which you enter your data.thebish wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:Hmm. 35 mins cross-trainer (120 steps per min, moderate setting) 15 mins bike at just above moderate and 5 mins rowing at 7/10.

Well, I have much more to shift than you have, my friend. And if I'm to have any chance of reaching my target of doing the parkrun on Oct 25th then getting some weight off in the gym has to help.

Well, I won't be doing that every session (especially on a Friday evening) but I've just got back from a 1,000 calorie burn-off gym session. Now for grilled whiting. Yum.

I could, but then I'd have to do it all again.thebish wrote:if you've burned off 1000 calories - you can have fish and chips!Bruce Rioja wrote:Well, I won't be doing that every session (especially on a Friday evening) but I've just got back from a 1,000 calorie burn-off gym session. TBH I've been trying to create a balance ahead of weekend, which involves a pub meet tomorrow afternoon and a party on Sunday. Looking forward to it all now

Re: fight the flab
weigh-day a day early this week as I am away for a couple of days and I like to use the same scales in the same place (for consistency...)
anyway - another 1.5lbs lost - which means my first sub-target IS achieved!
ONE WHOLE STONE OF FLAB IS GONE!

Well done, thebish! An inspiration to us all. I shall be making my own concerted effort commencing in three weeks, directly after I crawl off the beach I am headed for.
