And Jamie TPuskas wrote:See. There's six.
And then there's Iliev. And Clough.
So that's eight.
We need grafting midfielders. I hope Douglas stocks up on loads of them.

Where do I get my internet fiver? I called we'd be getting that youngster from Crewe about 5-10 pages ago?
As for Ibe, on two separate occasions today Bindipper fans have expressed their incredulity at us potentially signing him. On the verge of the first team, scored a few during the pre-season and has ability up the ying yang

I also thought Jordon Ebay looked lively against us for Brum last year. What I would say though is that in total he made four starts for them in three months, scoring one and assisting one (which I think was against us). And they were dogshit.
This might be Dougie's new method though. Drill every ounce of confidence and flair out of the players during pre-season, then bring in fairly mediocre players in on loan who then look like worldbeaters in comparison (see Feeney, Liam).

As I said Tom, Bindipper fans at work and also on Tw*tter are not too happy that he's coming here regardless of what he did at Brum.Tombwfc wrote:I also thought Jordon Ebay looked lively against us for Brum last year. But I do agree with the second paragraph to a certain degreee

It seems that Derby are now more likely to sign him now.

i guess we can offer him a new one whenever we like - if he's any good anymore...Despite being officially out of contract, the American will continue his rehabilitation at the club and he will be eligible for any friendly, under-21 or development squad games.
To be fair, the best either party could hope for. I still hope like he'll he can come back. I just truly doubt it.

Another for the development squad I'd expect. He must be looking to clear out Iliev & Clough. Not to mention Eaves & Odelusi.jaffka wrote:Well at least clayton plays in the position that needs strengthening.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

We won't be signing Clayton, though. At least not permanently. Crewe, reportedly, want around a million squids for him. Which has put off others...

We could take it to tribunal and Crewe won't get owt like £1M for him.Puskas wrote:And probably Wilkinson.bobo the clown wrote:Another for the development squad I'd expect. Suspect there is a deal there if we want (are able) to do it for less than half that amount.

The club denied Hall is available for a move in yesterdays paper.
Who knows though..

We actually paid a fair wedge for him given our current finances didn't we? Whether he stays or goes he continues to be a big let down.ChrisC wrote:jaffka wrote:Apparently rob hall is supposed to be a little gobshite which is why he is on his way out.

If everything goes right with him, then it's around £2m

He's young.. He was signed for his potential and a slim hope that he could have an immediate impact. It's always a gamble signing teenagers
