She's had a hell of a day gettting messages, calls, visits, cards, flowers and presents. A much loved lady and deserving of it all. I suppose seventy is a rather special birthday anyway, but tis over at last. Back to normal for another ten years.. :)

Stay in the light.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

About to leave work for the last time for two and a bit weeks, then back for three days, then I go to 1 day per week whilst back studying. Wooooo!

:D yep!

Especially in my second week off when I'll be down in Coverack, Cornwall with no phone signal and no internet. Can't wait! Peace and bloody quiet. Well, she'll be there but...

Three months is long enough!

I bloody hope so after 4 years. I've told her though that if she comes back with any bullshit about having 'found herself' or any new age nonsense she's got a month to get it out of her system! Can't be doing with that. Not sure her beginning-in-March corporate law employers will either, and somebody has got to pay for my self-indulgence :D

The last few weeks have been somewhat nervous times in the Hopeful household.

I was on here last week reporting that my eldest lad hadn't got the A-level results needed to get him to university, which was a shame.

Well today, my youngest lad got his GCSE results and I'm happy to report he did very, very well. 12 passes in total.

To quote the bulldog from Tom and Jerry "That's my boy!". :oyea: :pissed:
Hope is what keeps us going.
