WTF is going on????? We now can't get Loanees in!!!! Its now beyond a fecking joke. :hang:
He's not a loanee. He's out of contract but under 23 so commanding a transfer fee. Via tribunal probably but seems like nobody wants to risk that and can't agree a fee in the meantime.

However, if ever there was a doubt as to what sort of state BWFC is in, this dispels it. A complete and utter mess. Forget short term and who manages us. We are only going one way in the long term under current ownership and it isn't going to be pretty. Hold onto hats time I feel.
I was more on about Ibe than Clayton, but the same reasoning applies as to how we now can't afford an out-of-contract player (i know theres comp to pay but it'll be less than the £1m that Crewe want).

Or pay the electricity bill. Is it me or are the floodlights less bright this season? Or am I just imagining it?

It is like sending you into John Lewis for a TV set with a fiver in your back pocket. Technically you have money to spend. But you might as well be wearing a balaclava.....

Oh and I genuinely think Eddie/Phil have given up. If it was a question of not trusting Freedman with money they'd bin him off.

If they were thinking we should be doing better with what we've got they'd get rid too.

But I think there is no money. A need to further reduce costs. No leadership from boardroom level. No statement of intent or plans for the future. Just silence.

Freedman is just the fall guy - and I accept he isn't doing a very good job.

But it isn't going to get better this until the club receives fresh energy from the very top and of course fresh money and investment and ideas.

hold on a minute. the Ibe one sounds as though there is competition. so perhaps the player doesn't fancy it. Over on wandersways there was (i assume speculation) that Rodgers wanted him to go to Derby because their style of football better matched what he wanted.

As to the crewe chap - the posted quote, even makes it sound like unrequited love from DF

We have lost out to other clubs before on players, yes even loan ones. Ibe could have been good for us but meh, we move on.
I'm more worried how Freedman looks right now. (In the Brighton review interview). Looks like the pressure is definitely on him.

Genuinely it was a question. I've felt like it wasn't as bright at the Bury or Boro games as in previous seasons...

Well for every bit of cash ED puts in, someone <fat bastard who's been around for ages, but not Tony Kelly, but someone else> is siphoning it off. So why would he continue to do so?

The silence coming out of the club is deafening

It's correct. They only turn a half of them on on each pylon. I imagine that they no longer have to reach some sort of 'tv bright' requirement. I noticed it too.
