Also apparently Gartside has actually e-mailed a fan today (from WWays) saying 'We are getting the club on the right track and Dougie is the right man for the job'
Dumb & Dumber....absolutely astonishing ! - it's no wonder the club is on its arse and turning fans off in droves.

Well, I doubt he'd be likely to email a fan saying "you know .... just between us ... he's shite and we're planning to get rid.".Hoboh wrote:One that his express trans penine train is on!William the White wrote:The right track, for Gartside, is simply a reduced deficit, lower wages, lower outgoingsPeter Thompson wrote:This in a nutshell....boltonboris wrote:He doesn't think he's making mistakes though. The fact he replied shows they are aware of the disquiet ... as they bloody should be of course. I suspect he really means they want to stick with him, but it's getting harder and harder to do. 3 losses in the next four and he's indefensible. .... & no, I don't want us to lose. I just want us to have a chance.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: The New Freedman Poll
Whilst I agree that he's not likely to come out with that for obvious reasons...the actual e-mail was in response to a complaint about a flag at the Macron, therefore IMO there was no need for Gartside to even mention Freedman in his response or say anything about being on the right track - never mind being the right man for the job, he could have simply just kept his e-mail response to the flag issuebobo the clown wrote:Well, I doubt he'd be likely to email a fan saying "you know .... just between us ... he's shite and we're planning to get rid.".Hoboh wrote:One that his express trans penine train is on!William the White wrote:The right track, for Gartside, is simply a reduced deficit, lower wages, lower outgoingsPeter Thompson wrote:This in a nutshell....boltonboris wrote:He doesn't think he's making mistakes though. Very odd indeed. Showing even more clear the pressure they feel.

Re: The New Freedman Poll
We still have a better team than someone like Derby, and look how well they did last season under good management so, yes, we do have a chance. It's difficult to rate the players accurately under such an appalling manager anyway.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:You don't understand bonuses do you? I'd have this fella in charge now: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Hughton" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (managed Brum very well when they were in all sorts of trouble)

I still think we're more likely to 'promote' a lower-league manager than hire someone who might think himself Premier League.
And I think the time might be drawing near to assess our options.

More ridiculous than 'Freedman is/will be a better manager than Allardyce'? Do you still believe that, by the way?BWFC_Insane wrote:I think this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read on here.SmokinFrazier wrote:We still have a better team than someone like Derby, and look how well they did last season under good management so, yes, we do have a chance. And, no, we do have a better team than Derby.

Re: The New Freedman Poll
To be fair to Hughton he took over at Brum when they had been relegated from the Premier League

Re: The New Freedman Poll
I really don't know how on earth such a thing can possibly be measured either way other than how high up the league they are.. it really sounds a bit meaningless...SmokinFrazier wrote:

care to outline the calculation process by which you arrive at such an asserion?
