bollox. yet another saturday afternoon pissed on...
it'd be marginally better if we didn't have the habit of going ahead in the first place, thus giving false hope...

Patience, supporters. There's going to be someone popping up on the official site soon declaring that the next game will be the turning point and that all the players must get behind the rest so that................

Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

season starts here... ;0)

This pathetic limp continual tactic of sitting back every game inviting them on, letting the opposition have the ball - attack v defence is astonishing.
How on earth can Gartside or ED allow this to continue week after week with total disregard for the long suffering supporters. For me the only way to get rid of this pair of wasters (PG & DF) is for the fans to vote with their feet for a couple of games to send a clear message to the club that the fans will not put up with this continual negative ultra defensive dross served up by Freedman. & endorsed by Gartside
Believe me the club will act if the ground is empty for a couple of games....its not ideal and shouldn't need to be done but at this moment in time if Gartside won't listen, then I really don't know what else will get rid of this deluded, clueless amateur

Caught very little of the game today (first time for a long time). Seems I missed nowt. Fed up
even before I look at food.

Re: “Make towards the pebbled shore"..The Brighton match thr
kind of serious question , have the megson out bedsheeters stopped going ?
seems they *should* be out in force (even more so, in nowadays's case)
being all arsed about getting relegated from the prem , but not being bothered about getting relegated to division 3 ? seems kind of 'backward' (that's the wrong word, but y'know).
PS: oh yeah. nearly forgot;-. fcuk FFP

Think the fans have almost given up.

Every Bolton fan, even the most optimistic (of which I would consider myself) should be annoyed with the 4 'performances'. We can't hold a lead, we can't defend, we have no attacking threat, we can't attract players, we have no money, we have an uninterested owner, a chairman who makes bad appointments and hasn't been called into question for them and that's just a small list of the root problemsTANGODANCER wrote:Caught very little of the game today (first time for a long time). Not a word in any reports from Freedman.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He'll be having dinner with Gartside. They will now be chuckling over a bottle of wine celebrating the fact that their plan of taking the club into League 1 is well on track....bobo the clown wrote:Not a word in any reports from Freedman.

Don't talk daft. It's nothing sinister. We are just a club who've run out of money who can't afford to find its own success. We are one in a very long line of clubs who have had similar circumstances. It's shit, but let's keep it in perspective, we are hardly unique.Peter Thompson wrote:He'll be having dinner with Gartside. Ok....you keep believing what you post. But stop saying that he's had no money, he's has plenty since he got the job, he's been allowed to sign around 10-12 of his own players - one's he's personally targeted & chased OR has he purposely signed shit players ?BWFC_Insane wrote:Don't talk daft. You clearly believe that its not DF's fault, that its the players (his players !) that he's kindly been allowed to bring in that are not good enough. So in your opinion is it his tactics that are at fault or his eye for a player that must be in question as we now have 1 point from 12 and yet another abysmal start to the season.
Re: “Make towards the pebbled shore"..The Brighton match thr
I would say it's his tactics and not his eye for players. Out of those 10-12 players only Beckford, Hall and Spearing cost money (just shy of £3m) so he's had a lot less than Coyle, Megson and even Lil' Sammy. That's factPeter Thompson wrote:Ok....you keep believing what you post. Re: “Make towards the pebbled shore"..The Brighton match thr
Does a lack of money affect the on field performances? No. It's the job of the people behind the scenes to worry about money and Freedman's job to get the team playing well, regardless of whether the squad are worth a combined £200 or £200m. The squad may not be the strongest in the league but we've still underperformed for two seasons under Freedman and that's unacceptable.BWFC_Insane wrote:Don't talk daft. It's nothing sinister. Besides, we aren't the poorest side in the division and we've made plenty of signings. Some for good fees, such as what we paid for Beckford, and when players like Baptiste choose us over a Premier League side on a free contract, you know they've had a load of money chucked at them in wages.

By championship standards he's been backed sufficiently and spent (sorry wasted) enough cash either in transfer fee's and/or wages....maybe not to get us promoted but certainly top half, certainly much better than another worst start in 30 years.TKIZ! wrote:I would say it's his tactics and not his eye for players.
