“This place will be run professionally, on the pitch, on the training ground, and that will never change while I am here.
“The players are giving it all they have got, so I can’t do anything more.
“This is hard on everyone and sometimes you don’t get the rewards of working as hard as the staff are at the moment. But we can’t do any more."
Well Douglas me old boy, If you and your staff can't do any more to get us out of the situation you have so readily put us in, Then kindly feck off will you.
Thanks.

↑↑↑ Those are quite desperate quotes. You can only imagine the attitudes at training and in the staff meetings.

What??Puskas wrote:, more elaborate rituals would be required
More elaborate than the fantastic sports science set up we already have in place?

I imagine the fat Hungarian was thinking of more elaborate sacrifices.Lord Kangana wrote:What??Puskas wrote:, more elaborate rituals would be required

He may have a point.
There will be no shortage of volunteers who already proclaim they are Bolton till they die...
Re: Freedman out!
I can nominate a few folk who could be sacrificed for the greater good of the club.

Re: Freedman out!
Apparently Davies and Gartside are at Leeds today so if that means they're ready to make a decision, a loss today is the best thing that could happen for us in the longterm. After all the nonsense Freedman and his supporters said about the importance of a pre-season in implementing tactics and strategy, we had an atrocious start to last season and now have 1 point from 5 games this year. Whatever Freedman does during a pre-season is obviously detrimental to us.
He has to go now.
He has to go now.

Well, if he's going to get the bullet, it makes sense to do it now as there is a bit of time to get someone in before the next game.

If he isn't gone in a couple of days, he isn't going anywhere.

Yep. This week is it. Or he's here for the duration and the club are happy to just tick along as is.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Well, if he's going to get the bullet, it makes sense to do it now as there is a bit of time to get someone in before the next game.

Eh? It won't cost him anything. He can just reduce costs accordingly. Which is what he's doing now. Rather than spend like Blackburn, Fulham etc have done since coming down.TKIZ! wrote:Could ED afford another relegation though?

He just doesn't spend money and cuts the wage bill accordingly. It is what he is doing now. Going down wouldn't make much difference. Just carry it on. I don't know what or how he is thinking. We shall see pretty soon I think.TKIZ! wrote:Sorry, should have explained. I meant in terms of another drop in attendance etc.BWFC_Insane wrote:Eh? It won't cost him anything. He's either thinking "I need out and can run the team down, sell land etc" or "I'm not that arsed by football anymore"BWFC_Insane wrote:He just doesn't spend money and cuts the wage bill accordingly.
