The hidden variable in this is the amount of money.

He clearly isn't going into the first team and that is where I would like us to be concentrating on our efforts.

Ramage is far from the world's worst player but with Mills, Ream, Wheater and Dervite, I'd say centre-back isn't a priority. Especially when we've got Ream at RB and Moxey at LB.
