2-1.. elmander scored our goal (after we were 2-0 down) and Klasnic should have equalised in the dying minutes but for a good save...

Yes Dan, with you there. Grim. Molineux is my most visited ground other than ours. Decent ground, horrid place and fans.officer_dibble wrote:You will be right on this occasion fella.bwfcdan94 wrote:We will lose, I will help Enoch and my drunk friends back to the station, I will claim Wolverhampton is a shithole(I have been before).

Not wrong! When I lived nearby the consensus was Wolverhampton was a great night out - if you had your own task force.LeverEnd wrote:Yes Dan, with you there. Grim. Never went out there, I lived in Smethwick nearer Birmingham but was over that way frequently as I ran for Tipton Harriers. Tipton's not the nicest of places either, great people at the club though.William the White wrote:Not wrong! I have a bit of tooth missing thanks to some coward who objected to SuperJohn scoring twice and winning the game for us. Still went home with a smile on my face though!
My predictive powers are at their peak after my Scottish referendum triumph, and I'm saying 2-1 to us. YHIHF.

I lived in Wednesbury for 7 years. In the 80s. when it was known as 'the rust belt'.. It was suffering massive unemployment and terrible poverty.LeverEnd wrote:Never went out there, I lived in Smethwick nearer Birmingham but was over that way frequently as I ran for Tipton Harriers. Kinty and I thought Wolverhampton was lovely! Well, relative to expectations anyway. Certainly nicer to look at than Birmingham. Sunny day and a 3-2 win (with *that* Elmander goal) probably helped.

I dreamt the result last night..........
In a Life on Mars stylee there was a flickering television in the corner of the room and at the bottom of the screen came the result.
Wolverhampton Wanderers 0 - 2 Bolton Wanderers
May have a cheeky fiver on that.

Last time I watched the Wanderers play at Wolves me and my mates had glass bottles thrown at us one our way back to the car afterwards. Nice place.

I used to work for a company based in Smethwick. Dan could write an almighty tome on the area.William the White wrote:I lived in Wednesbury for 7 years. DOUGIE Freedman is likely to take Mark Davies out of the firing line against his old club Wolves tomorrow.
The midfielder has started the last two games against Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday at the Macron Stadium – his first competitive appearances since March. But the Wanderers boss admitted some concern over his condition at the end of the game on Tuesday night, and could seek to start him on the bench at Molineux. Medo Kamara, who replaced Davies as a substitute in the 3-2 win over Rotherham would be favourite to fill in.
“It wasn’t easy to select Mark in two straight games because of how long he’d been out but he’s got that ability to produce runs from the middle of the park,” he said. “I thought he did really well for us. I was really pleased with him getting 85 minutes even though he was really tired towards the end, so that’s something we have to bear in mind as we got forward now to the next game.”
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Any small euphoric feelings we have right now are entirely due to Joe Mason and his goals. Please remember that Dougie if you become tempted to tinker with the works. Craig Davies and Joe up front please, or we may as well stay at home. Wolves will be all out to flatten us in their home den and if we try to sit back and let them we'll be a pile of bones by 4-45. Nothing they have now will ever compare with The Doog and Steve Bull of past days, but they'll surely be after blood.

As for Mavies, surely we may as well just play him and then rest him for the Chelsea game. If he rests him tomorrow and then puts him in on Tuesday I'll actually be a bit pissed off. If we're going to build on momentum, it just won't happen if you take out your best players.

A question: can you play Mavies and two strikers in a trip to a top-four team?
Well yes you can, but should you?
