We've also got four players (Feeney, Trotter, Wilkinson, Lee-Barrett) from Millwall. Maybe our scouting network has shrunk to covering two grounds within eight miles of each other.
Exactly what I said on Saturday. And how many of our signings from these two legendary academies of football were getting a first team game?

Troubled times when the travel budget for scouting can only run to a couple of outings on a Boris Bike.
...and judging by the performances they've turned in, the scout still had the helmet strap over his eyes.

Amazing isn't it?

Its almost like they didn't give a shit because he was also signing good players.

Without doubt for all the Ben Haim's, Abdouleye Faye's, Kevin Davies' that came off there were a lot which bombed having cost a goodly amount. I suspect you really wouldn't want that whole thing auditing.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Possibly. But I'd bet on an income vs outgoings basis, I bet you'd cry at the last 3 or or so years.

I don't doubt it. I really meant Mr Allardyce wouldn't want it auditing.

Ah, gotcha. :D

I suspect BSA, PG and others probably would prefer the whole lot to be buried deep.
