didnt bournemouth spend 3million on some player ? and saint douglas was borrowing shite from palace ?

They're being bankrolled by Max Demin and they made something like £6m when Liverpool bought Lallana, for whom they had a sell-on clause (he moved to Southampton at 12).

anyway - silver lining - maybe today will blow away any lingering ideas at board level that we might be able to get away with just having the backroom staff hold the fort for the rest of the season! (though - granted - they haven't had much time to prepare!)
