Better than ones where we bought Anelka .... or Youri ? Wow !!

Did we have specific transfer threads for particular windows back then?

If so, then no. Obvs.

I think the one that "shocked" me the most was when was signed Djorkaeff (apart from Taddy Nowak). I couldn't believe we'd pulled that one off.

Djorkaeff is my personal favourite out of all the 'galacticos' we signed.

Djorkaeff, Campo and Okocha....my favourite players of all time. Those days of watching them have been one of the highlights of watching Bolton....magical times :)

Official Twitter: Andy Kellett goes on a month's loan to Plymouth Argyle: sixth in Division Four, managed by John Sheridan and in dire need of a higher-resolution badge on their club website.

Freedman out.

What he said. With bells on.

Then throw into the mix the heady days of Okocha and Campo at his best. Hierro? Remember him? The half season he played for us in midfield were some of the best that I have ever seen from a player in a White shirt.

Still have a soft spot for Florent Laville - he was sublime before his injury and seemed to lose a yard of pace.

Anyone remember of Yves Andre? Or whatever he was called. Always liked the look of him and was saddened that we couldn't keep him another year. And don't even get me started on 'WHAT'S THAT COMING OVER THE HILL? IS IT ANELKA?'

Good times. Sadly, probably won't be repeated either. Just happy as a pig in shite that I was there for the ride.

Interesting. I'm a tiny bit surprised he's gone so quickly into Nellie's reign as he's one of those really door knocking of late. Yet a month of games is no bad thing if it gets him up to speed. I read that Iliev has gone to Carlisle where Haydn White has been aready and appears to have had his loan extended.

Let's see what happens with Clough and my mate Vela.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

You may well ask if that means Moxey getting more grass time.
