Bannan is Scottish and started off at Celtic. The Palace bit is just a coincidence.

He's a bit of a dick by all accounts. And whenever I've seen him, he's been very very average.

What in that review of his exit from Celtic makes anyone think that Nellie will be climbing over people to have him working for him again ?

It's a lovely dream, a he's a proper legend here, and if he's reformed and the two love each other then how quaint. But I'd not be painting 'AT' on any car parking spaces just yet.

people still don't seem to be cured of the "let's get all the old boys back" mentality!!

I don't want Thommo or SKD or Paataleinen or Youri or Campo or SirJohn or Muamba to be running my club or taking key coaching roles. I'm happy for them to be legends, and remain such!

Lennon and McCartney. It'd never work.

OK, we've seen better spirit, more high line and a greater desire to attack and not let the opposition own the ball. We've also seen ourselves undone by a good team As Lennie settles in and by training AND games he works out what he's been left with I suspect the following ;
Bogdan will be sold for whatever we can get for him. Lonners has, again, risen to the challenge. He's older and slightly less good but ok enough and Boggers is soon out of contract.
Medo will also be sold. He's the best of our DM's in my view but he's not even getting on the bench now. He won't want to not play, we can raise some cash via him.
Beckford will be off. Lennon has shown faith in him ... given him a run but he still shows the heart of the Lion in Wizard of Oz. Whatever he's capable of he never does it on the pitch.

Any others ?

Garvan sent back.

Tierney probably never going to play again.

Was Herd on loan from Villa? If so, I have heard he has gone back as well...? (From Marc Isles, which could be wrong of course)

That's the guy. Seemed competent enough .. & no sign that Villa were about to give him a run.

Oh well. Plus no McNaughton ... injured or ill ? Obviously he can't play on Tuesday anyway but he's 'our' best full back right now.
