--------------Lonergan--------------
Threlkeld - Mills - Dervite - Moxey
--------------Spearing---------------
---------Mavies ---- Danns----------
--------------Chungy-----------------
---------Beckford - Cravies---------
Hard to decide between Moxey/Ream and Mills/Wheater.
Clayton on for Beckford if he doesn't fire and hopefully Vela on around 60 minutes.

You know Dougie got sacked in your absence right?!! Welcome back, and 2-1 us.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:With Kevin Mc-No-ton and Noe Mason missing not in action we’ll probably leek goals and have a woolly attitude up front. Where's that quotes thread?
Anyway, I'd be tempted by DSB's diamond (ahem), my only concern would be Threlkeld and Moxey being left 1v1. I want to like Threlkeld but thought he was poor v Norwich. Got tight when shouldn't and didn't when he should. There was one point where Olsson took down a 70 yard cross-field ball that was in the air for ages, his first touch sending it up in the air, then he had two touches to set himself and then swung in a dangerous cross without Oscar getting near him. One the phrase "on his touch" was made for. Not that he was worse than Ream on the other side who seemed certainly to have got the concept of showing wingers somewhere, but not quite the finer details as to where precisely, as he showed the two-footed cut-inside shooty winger Redmond, inside. Every time. Like properly out of his way showed him into the box. Think Marcos Alonso on Duff, Kightly any one of the other 83 goals we conceded like that. So I'd have Threlkeld at RB coz there's no-one else, and Moxey at LB because both options are terrible defensively but Moxey is more likely to give us width going forwards.
So if I were to do the diamond I think Danns would have to go for Medo (or Trotter, but you said I can pick, not the manager) and it would be the 4-4-2 parallelogram. Spearing sitting centrally, Medo deep and right, Mavies forward and left, and Chungy forward and central. Clayton over Beckford, with Cravies. Stick with Mills. One bad game not enough to break up a CB partnership that has looked OK (which makes it one of our better ones recently) and especially not for the not-particularly-great Wheater.

I know, but I had a teacher called Mr Tan and his presence in my life was not auspicious... He was Welsh too (of Chinese extraction obviously, Taffy Tan).
That's not a leopard!

Official team: Lonergan, Mills, Dervite, Ream, Vela, Danns, Feeney, Mavies, Pratley, Chungy, Cravies.
Subs: Kenny, Threlkeld, Moxey, Spearing, Trotter, Beckford, Clayton
I'll try again: make an XI outta that...
Back three? If so, who's the wingbacks? Feeney? Vela? Pratley? Chungy?!
Back four: who's right-back? Vela?
Subs: Kenny, Threlkeld, Moxey, Spearing, Trotter, Beckford, Clayton

So, where was Feeney on Friday? Was he actually injured?

I'm all for horses-for courses... if NL didn't fancy Feeney Friday, fairenough...
Just to say though that I'm hoping either it's a back three or Threlkeld has a knock, 'cos if he's been dropped for someone playing out of position, it's a chops-slap...

He's not adverse to trying things out, is he formation wise?

"@MarcIles: I'm guessing three at the back, although Feeney 'could' be a right-back. If it's 3-5-2 who plays the left wing-back? #confused #bwfc"
If it's 3-5-2, who's the second striker? Chungy?

Bit premature, I don't he's been given anywhere like enough time. Still 31 games to play (93 points up for grabs including tonights showcase)plymouth wanderer wrote:If we win he'll be moses.if we lose he'll get slaughtered
