Me too, subtext to that is that I also reading Eagles comments thought that he didn't come across well either
Pfffft.

Its still a bit of a pity. You've got to think that if Blackpool can afford Eagle's wages, we can.

If you'll just allow the edges to go wavy and out of the mist emerges the Wanderers front 6 of Eagles, Holden, Gudjohnson, Mavies, Cravies and CYL.

Heres what you could have won?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Didn't Eagles only sign until January? You might get him yet LK!

Wouldn't want Eagles back now, I'd much rather see what Lennie can get us in the January Transfer window

Aye, with a Moo and an aging Sean Davis keeping the midfield tight.

{sigh}

Ok I pick eagles in the basis that I'd be happy for him to return. Dougie is a big fat bellend etc.

Eagles is quoted as saying rather than wrote:I believe Dougie Freedman was saying I was a disruptive influence
Which kinda suggests to me he never said any such thing.

Eagles is quoted as saying rather than wrote:and they never offered me a contract
Eagles is quoted as saying rather than wrote:They offered me a number of contracts
Complicated ain't it Christopher.

Not for me Mr Eagles.

I've heard it said he can be a disruptive influence, heard it said he thinks he's bigger than the club.

Had Freedman said such surely the quote would have been along the lines of:

Dougie Freedman was saying I was a disruptive influence

I suspect he's not stupid enough to defame someone so publicly.

In the same way that Freedman papped on about disruptive influences when he got here. And everyone seemed to know who exactly he was on about.

Freedman's time at Bolton didn't work out in my eyes, so I think it would be foolish to bring him back.

I hope Lennon fares better, I remain optimistic.

I don't remember the words he used, but I do remember Freedman saying publicly that he wanted to build a team around Eagles.
