There's at least 4 sets of outside lights near us, put up today.

I think I will start to come under pressure from tomorrow. :-(

The tree went up today. I guess something had to replace all the Halloween decorations. :-(

From ONS stats seems we will have to wait till March 2015 for the latest figures.
In the year ending March 2014, 64,640 NINos were allocated to nationals of Bulgaria and Romania, compared to 28,220 in the year ending March 2013. Between the years ending March 2013 and March 2014, the number of NINos allocated to Bulgarian nationals increased by 71% (from 10,000 to 18,000), whilst the number allocated to Romanian nationals increased by 163% (18,000 to 47,000).

Founder of our company (Dutch firm) is in Manchester going to the game tonight (I know, I know).

Anyhow, 1pm, he text me asking if I fancied meeting him and his mate over at the Lowry hotel for a few beers (we're 100 yards away across the river).. Anyhow, I replied saying I was a bit too busy, but I'll catch up with him tomorrow before he flies out in the afternoon.

An our or two later, he sends me a photo....

He's only out on an all day session with Ronald De fvckin' Boer!!

I was reading the above article about two thugs who battered a 58 year old man in Farnworth for £14. This obviously made me angry and I hope they find and lock up these scumbags.

However, reading down the article, these two arseholes then attacked two 14 year old boys stealing a £1000 watch. Now I have a couple of questions above this second bit. Where did a 14 year old boy get the money to buy a £1000 Tag Heuer watch and why was he walking around the streets of Farnworth with said watch.

I don't know these lads but do you think they have been to Turkey this year? Apparently they sell Tag Heuer and Rolex watches for around £5. Or do you think they are just well insured?
Police suspect the duo then attacked two 14-year-old boys just 40 minutes later, stealing a watch worth £1,000.

then

Two 14-year-old boys were attacked in similar circumstances by two men on nearby St Germain Street.
Both boys were punched in the head, leaving them sore and bruising.
One had a silver and gold Tag Heuer watch stolen before the two men ran off towards Harrowby Lane.

My son got his 1000 watch passed down from his grandfather who passed away and he was innocently walking home and was attacked

He was walking to the pub? Each to their own, but it's a bit late isn't it? However, forty minutes later (11pm) two fourteen year olds were accosted. What the heck were they doing banging around at that time of night? I'm not excusing the perpetrators, by the way, it's just that the report doesn't sound right. Could it have been am rather than pm?

I worked as a security guard for three years, Dujon, much of it on nights. I saw kids who could have been no more than fourteen/fifteen year old, wandering around in groups and gangs at four and five o'clock in the morning many times.

It's not inconceivable that the grand-dad would have had a watch worth a grand is it?! (It doesn't say the grand-dad was from Farnworth ;)) People pay ludicrous amounts of money for watches.

I'd be questioning the mentality of the parents letting a 14 year-old loose with such an expensive watch, mind, but plenty people have more money than sense.

It doesn't sound *that* unlikely to me.
