Who IS going?breaking news from bish-village involves a dramatic losing of the car keys whilst out on a bike ride, thus trapping me deep into the New Forest and consequently with radically different plans for the weekend! :0(

A bright crisp afternoon, the ground half-full or half-empty, to taste. Come on you Whites.

We are spraying it about nicely without looking particularly threatening so far, with some good pressing in their half too.
There's a notable absence of long punts up field from our centre-backs.

How was that not a free kick on Chungy then?
Re: F*ck these Royals c*nt's arses - Reading (A) 06/12/14
Reading looking the more likely to score.
We're having a lot of possession but no bite in the final 3rd.
Lucky on 2 occasions just then.

aye - that's how it looked on my pc too... esp. noticeable the keeper rolling it out short to the defenders - and they look reasonably unflustered on the ball most of the time - not being pressed by Reading, either....Nicko58 wrote:We are spraying it about nicely without looking particularly threatening so far, with some good pressing in their half too.

I'm not so readily reaching for metaphors involving hot knives and butter when watching our defense - though, Reading are more purposeful in the last third than we are - noticeably...
we look competent if not dangerous... (which is a step forward from the start of the season!)
in Spearing's absence, who's the captain?

just caught the last few mins of the first half, looked like they were all over us and quite lucky to go in nil nil
second half and we can do this

Nah, there's a lot of huff and puff but our defence has done really well. Playing away I reckon we're doing pretty decently if not spectacular.jaffka wrote:just caught the last few mins of the first half, looked like they were all over us and quite lucky to go in nil nil

We nearly score but it's cleared off the line.
Good spell of super whites pressure here.

Capable but not cutting; organised without being threatening. CD toiling manfully, CYL spinning hopefully. Clayton quiet; Feeney seeing more ball but not many more crosses. CD's lack of pace allowing Reading to play a high live and compress our creatives. No sign of thebish's keys.
Hope we improve after the break. Lennon's games so far have often been patchy, and I hope that wasn't the sum of our chances.
In truth, a fairly poor game between two sides a very long way from play-off standard.
