God bless my 'stepson' who has downloaded seasons 3 and 4 of 'Suits' and the latest season of 'The Good Wife'. That's me sorted for a week or two.

Tonight it's Gogglebox, which never fails to make me laugh out loud.
And I've got a bit of a thing for Reverend Kate.

Regina Spektor? She's done better. She can be a bit Marmite though.
Kinda Tori Amos meets Bjork meets Kate Bush
However, Orange is the new Black is brilliant.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
i only lasted about half the first season of OITNB. and it was a chore to get that far. i always try and stick things out a while because even The Wire was a chore at the very beginning - but that one is not for me. Im struggling a bit with House of Cards too, and this new series of Homeland. both put to sleep in minutes. must be putting em on too late...

Blimey, I think it's possibly the best thing I've ever seen on TV. It is kind of slow burn, but great characters.General Mannerheim wrote:i only lasted about half the first season of OITNB. and it was a chore to get that far. i always try and stick things out a while because even The Wire was a chore at the very beginning - but that one is not for me. I just watched part 1 of The lost honour of Christopher Jeffries and found it quite disturbing, he is, if a true portrayal, slightly eccentric but Christ a murderer? no way, just what the hell were the press up to!

Jerry Maguire. Tom Cruise is a sports agent, a pretty good sports agent too, until he has a crisis of confidence and can't be a sports agent any more. Then he meets a good looking woman who talks him into being a better sports agent.

Hey, that's nothing. Tom Cruise met an agent who talked him into being six-feet five and eighteen stone. That's a real agent!Prufrock wrote:Jerry Maguire. My word, that bird on Countdown's seriously fecking tidy. I might write to her, informing her of this.

She's a rag fan. And I can almost forgive her. I'm pretty sure it's her only flaw.
