A Win Away? Millwall / Friday 19th
Not a prayer now I've started the match thread.
Mason out, Clayton out, Cravies doubtful and Beckford long gorn. Never mind, Odelusi is back fit and Wilkinson will have a point to prove against his former club.

I think I've rumbled Wee Greenie at his cryptic best here. He's referencing those 80's pop powerhouses Tight Fit and their smash hit 'The Lion(s) Sleeps Tonight'. Ooooooooooooh, a win away, a win away, a win away, a win away..................

Hopefully Lennon has some kind of attacking Back-Up Plan so it has to be the much studied crease of Jennifer Lopez.thebish wrote:and your nominated filmic arse of the week?

Anyone going? Myself, pru and mummy will be there and hopefully not wishing we were somewhere else.
Nero fiddles while Gordon Burns.

It's on Friday due to transport disruption in London on Saturday or summat. Not on Sky but maybe on a stream.

You wouldn't get me there for a gold pig, the bunch of wankers. I'm on our office bash anyway.KeyserSoze wrote:Anyone going? Myself, pru and mummy will be there and hopefully not wishing we were somewhere else.

Enoch's around I know. Booze around London Bridge/Borough then a smash-and-grab in-and-out? Eidur to come on after 70 mins at 0-1, immediately miss a sitter to equalise, then lay on the equaliser before scoring an absolute peach of a 90th minute winner. YHIHF.

P.S. Dan Shittu will have Wilkinson in his back pocket all game. Different approach required as he isn't a target man.

Re: A Win Away? Millwall / Friday 19th
Do you reckon Max Clayton being out of action (along with Mason and C.D) might force N.L's hand into signing Heskey on a short term? Unless one of the injured gets back quickly I wonder where we're at with strikers. Okay, Eidur's back, but he isn't a point man type striker and Wilkinson is no Kevin Davies (Gee, if only)..DJBlu wrote:P.S. Dan Shittu will have Wilkinson in his back pocket all game. Heskey debut?
Re: A Win Away? Millwall / Friday 19th
How bad does this whole situation sound?
He would have the same pace as Shittu I suppose but it's Emile Heskey ffs.
