What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Grilled fish finger bagel with grated cheddar and salad cream. Someone had to crack.

Veg broth in the slow cooker for post-match. ;)

Pizza from Aldi... Spinach, ricotta, tomatoes...

Added to it chorizo from Aldi...

With Ribera del Duero red from the 'Exquisite' range - from Aldi...

All of it seriously good (getting a red this good at under 6 quid is another gobsmacker... of a welcome kind...)

I hope you made proper mash, young man, and none of that insto-starch bollocks.

I watched that James Martin making mash. I reckon that if I used equal parts of spuddie, butter and cream with around 150 grammes of salt than my mash would be pretty good too.

Of course! Don't understand the appeal of the instant stuff, it's not like it takes long to smash the f*ck out of a boiled potato and clod in some butter and a touch of milk/cream - for 10 times the taste. Was fecking amazing, reminded me of being at home.

See, now you've got me onto frozen chips. WHY? How fecking difficult is it to peel a potato, slice it up and fry it?

Jam jars? I've thankfully never had the pleasure. What drinks, beer?!

Yep. A place up in the Northern Quarter, I can't remember its name.

If you have an empty jar nearby, fill it with water and try drinking from it. Near impossible to do without getting liquid all down your chin.

We're having scallops with black pudding, smoked bacon and spinach tonight. It is, after all, tuesday.

Maybe more prosaic fare tomorrow night, as I'm also bubbling away a pea and ham soup with the weekends gammon-joint stock.

Now then, red or white?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Scallops and pig generally is amazing.

Which indirectly reminds me:

Tomorrow is our Christmas do, going to a Turkish place in Angel which didn't seem to do anything obviously Turkish on its menu... I'm having King Prawns, Lamb Shank, and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Then, even better, on Thurs I'm off out again to the best food place I've ever been, seeing if it can knock one of its own entries out of my top 3 meals I've ever eaten:
