Jesus H Fxcking Christ! (irony intended)
Just because Sharon in yer kitchen isn't intent on removing your head with a sharp knife doesn't mean she still doesn't back those who would. I bet she doesn't wear a niqab when peeling spuds...
And the simple fact one moronic lot who believe the creator of the universe speaks exclusively in Arabic doesn't invalidate another bunch from believing the same shite but still wanting to slice the other lots fxcling heads off makes me any more receptive to their World Domination plan, well that's the problem!
And Bijou Bob... Do fxck off. Islam is not a race: dickhead!
And Tango, the answer to your question is that they want EVERYBODY to be beholden, slaves to, their shitty sect... of whichever of LK's varieties that may be.

But none of the above arguments stops these dickheads being MUSLIM. They obviously are. By their own actions they proclaimeth "Allahu Akbar" when dousing teachers in petrol. The fact Sharon in yer kitchen doesn't throw hot oil in your face when protesting the lack of Sharia response to carving pork just tells me she's ripe for conversion to secularism (stick that in your Racism pipe and smoke it Bijou Bollock).

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Particularly in this day and age there is a mass of informative discussion to be accessed if you care to seek it. The main contention, at least the truest, is that we don't know. Mohammed, for instance, seems to have appeared some six-hundred years after the birth of Jesus Christ and the Quran written by his disciples after his death. The Bible, or at least the gospels relevant to Jesus, seem to have been written much earlier, some fifty years after his time; (His birth 2014 years ago as we calculate time now.) ? That said, the Jews has Jesus down as an imposter and the Quran agrees on a great deal of what the Bible says. But that's what religion's about is it not? Belief without proof, so you believe as you will in the knowledge that one day you'll face your maker and answer your cause........or not depending on yourself. Whatever the past has done, the relevance is now and the future, and forced conversion has always been the work of man, not God. He made his wishes clear and gave us free will, and the rest is up to you. Amen.Athers wrote:I'll preface this with, "there are far more learned scholars than me on this, but"
My interpretation is that while the New Testament is a collection of stories from different Human viewpoints about the man himself JC, the Qu'ran is the absolute word of God sent through his messenger Muhammed. While interpretation of Christianity can evolve somewhat and has figureheads on Earth who lead change in the church, or simply reacts to public sentiment as at the moment with the Pope, this isn't as possible with Islam as it's holy texts are the word of God and that's it. Therefore it's 'easier' for those extreme passages to be taken and basically run with compared to the ease of disregarding some of the more unpleasant one-liners in the Bible. Some of these mention Holy War, converting the unbelievers by force and all the horrible stuff we hear trotted out by IS.
Unusually for the internet I welcome critique

Spotty. I was so looking forward to going painting with you in the hereafter, where pipe-smoke is colourless and devoid of smell and the sun always shines. Don't know if I'm going to make the upper-floor (very likely not) but you are certainly bound for a world where there are no paints, the paper sets on fire in seconds, there's no beer and everybody has an e-cig as big as James Galway's flute.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Yeah, but correlation doesn't equal causation. Stalin was an atheist, so was Chairman Mao. Some would estimate the combined victims of their regimes is >100m. I'm not saying their lack of faith is what caused them to have so many people killed but if you imagine there were no religions, as John Lennon did, then there would still be plenty of murderous dickheads. As such, I think it's somewhat unfair to hold peaceful, moderate muslims responsible for extremists and terrorist atrocities. Just as I don't hold moderate Christians responsible for Anders Breivik. Nor does holding that position make me an apologist for extremists and terrorists.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:But none of the above arguments stops these dickheads being MUSLIM. They obviously are. I'm not quite sure why you are so full of anger and hate Spotty, but I am genuinely sorry that you are. Life can't be.much fun when anger and hate obscure the joy and happiness that can be found if you look for it.

Do try to keep up. He refers to your remark about "several muslims, three Jews, 7 South American Catholics and a Buddhist " which add up to .... er ...never mind.Lord Kangana wrote:Sorry, which seven people are we referring to?

Casual racism?Bijou Bob wrote:I find all this casual racism quite appalling personally, and don't please, give me that shoite about Islam not being a race, so it can't be racism. I'm sure that those of you condemning an entire faith population would have been as equally condemnatory following the Jones massacre, Wako or the offences of the Westboro Baptist Church. Wouldn't you?!
Just because it isn't in the Daily Mail every day, that doesn't mean that local Imam's aren't working hard to stop the radicalism of young people. I know for a fact that they are.
Yet again today in the papers is another radicalised 15 year old head case stopped going to Turkey to cross to Syria because the police made a plane turn back on the runway!
These people supposedly come from 'good moderate' Muslim families who apparently have 'no idea' that there are people within their community and Mosques recruiting, yeah right!
Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Have you had a teenage child Hoboh? I've had two and they're great kids, but I can honestly say that in their mid teen's I had little idea what they were up to. I'd venture to say most parents don't. Muslim parents are no different I suspect. Why you think they would be by dint of their faith, I have no idea!

Yes I have, but I made it my business to at least have half an inkling what they were up to even though I was working 14/15 hours a day then.Bijou Bob wrote:Have you had a teenage child Hoboh? On the other point I don't see many Christian churches or organisations, either then or now, recruiting for wars in a land they know now't about.

This was true on the statute books until 1832, but for crimes other than murder and treason these mandatory sentences were very frequently commuted.William the White wrote:
It certainly contains things that in the 7th century were liberal and humane and progressive but now seem reactionary and barbaric. The amputation of a hand for theft, for instance - in England the sentence was death until the 19th century.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Seeing as the chattering classes are accepting some guff about a kitchen representing the entire world and basically there isn't anything wrong.
I know a chap in quite an important position, he happens to be Asian, quite religious and goes to Mosque. He is quite a nice person as well.
He revealed to me that there are radicals in his mosque, which apparently is quite tolerant who spout anti west sentiments. I asked him what happens about them, he said that they are just ignored, with no other action.
Brushing it under the carpet was my opinion.

That is true - but doesn't damage the point being made, I feel. Plenty were executed.Montreal Wanderer wrote:This was true on the statute books until 1832, but for crimes other than murder and treason these mandatory sentences were very frequently commuted.William the White wrote:

Yes, it was a close call, Bruce, one for which I will be eternally grateful. Admittedly I did nick one of my brother's humbugs but the magistrate was magnanimous in his final sentencing; "Suck it and see" said he with a wry grin.Bruce Rioja wrote:Ah, Dujon just made deportation then?William the White wrote:The amputation of a hand for theft, for instance - in England the sentence was death until the 19th century.

Agreed, and I think it is fair to say that the Ottoman Empire, for example, was far more tolerant and liberal regarding differences and minorities than Catholic Europe in the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries.William the White wrote:That is true - but doesn't damage the point being made, I feel.
