A woman in the US state of Idaho has been killed after her two-year-old son accidentally shot her with a gun he found when reaching into her handbag.

Re: General Chit Chat
Walking the dog through the woods and hills this morning and there's folk everywhere. It's like out of a film script when civilisation breaks down and all the townies and city residents take to the hills. Vast parties of inexperienced walkers, mostly in family groups, but some gangs of OAPs, and other mobs of youths, all armed to the teeth with previously unused gear such as walking feckin poles, rucksacks, bobble hats, etc.
They all seem to be going in the opposite direction and don't understand the mores and rules of the countryside, such that when my collie attempts to round them up and herd them in the 'right' direction, they scream and flail out with their feckin poles instead of just accepting the inevitable forced march accompanied by occasional encouraging nips. The family groups are usually overawed by the scenery and stand there gasping at the wildlife: what's that asks dad, young son shakes his iPad and pronounces he can't look it up because he's no connection, whilst gramps mutters I think it's a cow!
Every feckin New Year this happens. Stay indoors you feckers... you know you really want to. Stop cluttering up the countryside.

Re: General Chit Chat
Sounds like a fair sentence to me. A gobshite acting like ten men in an incident confined to a private space. Happens repeatedly in every town, every Christmas.
He'll only serve half that, probably less to be welcomed back into the bosom of his family.

Edmonton and now Calgary. That's the Wild West, Hoboh. Parts of Eastern Canada are closer to Bolton than to Alberta so you could be okay.Hoboh wrote:http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/j ... ouse-party

It all probably adds fuel to your pet theme. The Calgary victim was Abdullahi Ahmed, a Somali refugee. The Edmonton murderer was Phu Lam, from a Vietnamese immigrant family.Hoboh wrote:http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/j ... ouse-party
