Warrenpoint featured heavily in the news in 1979. Let's not go into it, but that's why the name of the place has always stuck in my mind.

Newry is not too far from NL's home town. I suspect that's got something to do with it.

Speaking of non league lads. What happened to that guy we signed in the summer from some semi pro team in Shropshire or something

He's a regular performer for the stiffs, mostly as a substitute. Last start was against Wigan, has come off the bench in each of the four games since.
